Superman has found his Lois Lane. Former Grimm star Elizabeth Tulloch is set opposite Tyler Hoechlin as the Man of Steel’s love interest Lois Lane for the CW’s annual epic Arrowverse DC/WBTV crossover. The three-night event kicks off with The Flash on at 8 PM Sunday, December 9, followed by Arrow on at 8 PM December 10 and capping off with Supergirl on December 11. It wasn’t revealed how many episodes Tulloch will appear as the iconic character. Hoechlin’s Superman will be featured in all three episodes of the mix-and-match live-action television franchises that feature characters from the pages of DC Comics. This year’s crossover will also include the first appearance of Batwoman (Ruby Rose). Intrepid journalist Lois Lane has been part of the Superman comic book mythology since the Man of Steel’s first issue was published in the summer of 1938. The character has been portrayed famously in years past by Noel Neill, Margot Kidder, Teri Hatcher, Kate Bosworth and Amy Adams. This week marks the 25th anniversary of the first episode of ABC’s Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Tulloch starred as the female lead for six seasons on NBC’s Grimm. On the feature side, she was recently seen opposite Tim Roth in Chronic which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Tulloch’s previous feature credits include Concussion opposite Will Smith and Alec Baldwin, Parkland opposite Paul Giamatti and Billy Bob Thornton, and Oscar-winning The Artist with Jean Dujardin. Tulloch’s additional TV credits include the series lead in Ed Zwick’s NBC drama series Quarterlife, Portlandia, House M.D. and The West Wing. She’s repped by ICM Partners, Luber Roklin Entertainment and Stone, Genow, Smelkinson, Binder & Christopher. Elizabeth Tulloch Cast As Lois Lane In the CW’s DC Superhero Crossover
How do you feel about this casting?

Hmm... Took me a minute to recognize the name, since she was credited on Grimm as Bitsie Tulloch.
I'm not sure how I feel about her as Lois. She was kind of hit and miss on Grimm, especially the more they went down the rabbit hole with her going dark.

I never really had a problem with the actress or the character she played in Grimm (though I did wonder what was up with her name change in final season of the show), so I'm fine with this casting news.

Eh, she was very blegh on Grimm for my liking, pretty as fuck though, so the streak of me fancying the pans of off the live action Lois Lanes remains in tact, but I don't know how well she'll do as the character, she was fine in Grimm when she was just Nick's girlfriend and a good person, she has the charm and such to pull that off, but she had no edge to her and her trying to act, tough, angry or anything else felt wooden as shit, so not sure how well she will do playing a Pitbull like Lois, fingers crossed though.

So you're saying it's yet another case of the CW casting looks over talents? Why am I not surprised. They really like to stick with their comfort zone, don't they.

Yeah, I haven't seen her in anything either, and might be too harsh in my criticism. It's just the CW makes me so mad!

I can't say I am very familiar with the actress so I am not sure what she is going to be like as Lois Lane but I am glad they have at least gone with an actress who is in her late 30s over an actress in her early 20s which I was worried they might do but looking at her age and Cat Grant's age it still looks wrong to me and Lois should be closer in age to Cat Grant 'cause they are old rivals. Cat Grant even acknowledged this on 'Supergirl' so why so she is so much younger than Calista who is 53 looks odd.

That's possible. Although I wonder how they are going to play things out if this new 'Superman' TV show goes through and if they will have Calista appear on an episode of it to show her with all the other character along with James. I was just saying to another member on here earlier today it is very likely Chloe Sullivan will be in the show 'cause she has been confirmed to exist and be Clark's long time friend three times in 'Supergirl' and with James being in 'Supergirl' expect a new actress for Chloe Sullivan.

Though that was before all this sordid sex cult business with Allison Mack. I can see them distancing themselves from the character because of taint by association and decide to not use her in the show.

I think you are probably right but then again they might want to get a new actress to play Chloe Sullivan so they can distance themselves and the character's association with Allison Mack. I mean a lot of people are always going to see Allison as Chloe 'cause she was so popular in 'Smallville' and did a great job playing the character but with new actresses playing her that could change over time. Also what Allison did isn't as bad as what some other celebrities have been exposed for and come back after it and if she can get her head straight it might not be too late to fix her career. She isn't a rapist or pedophile like Bill Cosby or Stephen Collins.

I think the Chloe ship has sailed.
She was popular while Smallville was out and a large part of why was Allison's portrayal and charisma, and now that is "tainted" somewhat. Chloe will be an easter egg from now on, but I highly doubt she will ever make an appearance.

I don't think the Chloe ship has sailed. I think it stuck an iceberg and sank to the bottom of the ocean.

We may have been too harsh on her before but as long as she stays with what cult things aren't going to get any better for her. She needs to get away from them before they destroy her life and go to therapy.

No, she's not a rapist or pedophile, but she is still an accomplice. She has a lot to atone for but the damage to her career might be irrevocable.

In some ways the people who facilitate the indulgences of rapist, podophiles, sexual sadist, sex slavers and such are just as bad if not worse, they don't do it for satisfaction or because some fucked up part of their brain tells them what they are doing isn't wrong, they know it is and their making their life off the victimisation of other people either for money, power, status or acceptance, just because they weren't the one molesting or assaulting the victims doesn't mean they weren't their victims also, and a lot of the time their victim list is far more expansive than any of the single sicko's they provide for.
We should burn them all.

We should burn them all. Yeah. I think some of you might be right but I don't know. I think if they go through with the animated 'Smallville' movie they need to have Chloe in it 'cause she was such a big part of the show and is also a big part of the comic books from what I have seen and it will perhaps be then when they get a new actress to play the role. I wonder how this is going to play out if they go through with the 'Smallville' crossover too and while it is very unlikely we will see Allison Mack appear on that we might see some other characters like Lana, Lois, Oliver, Kara and Pete appear in it and despite what has been said about Kristin including accusations of grooming young girls to join the cult which I recently posted on the Allison Mack thread they mustn't have anything that can prove Kristin's involvement in this and the CW Network have given her a new show so they obviously don't believe it.
