Since John Williams is going to be retiring after he does the score for "STAR WARS: EPISODE IX" and since we know that there will still be more "STAR WARS" Movies after that, Who does everyone here think should be the one who officially takes over for Williams as the Music Composer for the "STAR WARS" Movies ?

Ramin Djawadi
His Game of Thrones music became instantly iconic and I really enjoyed his work on Iron Man and Pacific Rim.

Michael. Give him more time and he could make an incredible score. Some of the Rogue One tracks are really good

Michael Giacchino is the best replacement for John Williams.

It will be a sad day for fans of Star Wars, movies, and music when John Williams finally retires. His contributions to all three have been invaluable. But all good things must come to an end.
When it does, my vote will go to James Newton Howard. He has worked in a variety of genres and, like Williams, he can be both subtle and grandiose when need be. He has also scored many Sci-fi/Fantasy movies such as Treasure Planet, the Hunger Games, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Fantastic Beasts. Howard has proven he can do science fiction, fantasy, and adventure. Star Wars has elements of all three.

No one. Out of respect for Williams any movies made after he's done should have no music whatsoever, not even the main theme.

Giacchino did an excellent job with Rogue One - I'd be happy if they kept giving him the gig.
