Back in the '80's-early '90's, there was a series of paperback fantasy/sci-fi novels that were very popular with teens and young adults. The one I'm looking for has a cover illustration of (I think) the finale of the story. It depicts a muscular, hottie hero, with his left arm in a black sling, reclining on the back of a big dragon, while he holds her baby in his right hand. Mama's head is turned around to look at them. Dammit, I can't remember the title of this book!
I realize that this thread is inappropriate for this board, and the administration will probably move it to another one (as it did with another thread of mine), but I'm still hoping my friends here will know what I'm talking about.
To get back on track, maybe movies were made from these novels. Who knows??

snsurone, as for other boards, you can always put it in INTK or Books. Folks here often post there as well. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find your book, but this may help. You may also want to look into Jane Yolen’s “Pit Dragon Trilogy” and Anne McCaffrey’s “Dragonriders of Pern.” One of those looked like they could be your book, but I couldn’t find a cover like the one you remember. Oh! and if all else fails, this forum is an invaluable resource. It’s helped me a great deal (though there’s one story I remember no one’s been able to find yet). Happy hunting!

By Jove, I think you’ve got it, Bat! But we may never ever know since the OP refuses to look at my "trollish" attempts at answering her questions .

It would probably be easier to identify if you could remember details about the novel itself -- a plot summary, characters' names and place names. Even partial names could be useful.

This is what comes up with search for "book cover - hero on dragons back holding baby dragon" On it, Bat. Could this be the one, snsurone? It’s very similar if not identical.

At least we got to see some pretty cool pictures of dragons BUT Obviously the OP is too busy reading Hollywood Babble-on and bringing politics into threads that asked for NO POLITICS and dissing Ricky Ricardo for being "brutal" to Lucy and calling people who try to help her sorry self "trolls " and "asses" to bother finding out how to do something as simple as finding own notes. She probably has forgotten that she even asked the question.

Maybe someone the OP is willing to get answers from could send her a PM and tell her how to find the thread and see the attempts to answer her question.
MY question at this point is … were the suggestions correct or not or are we on another Sleuth quest.

and finally her reply .. NOTE not here where it belongs … but OT on CFB "...To tell the truth, I was never interested in the book itself--just the cover, LOL. It was the only illustration I had ever seen that was actually nice to dragons! I wanted to frame it and hang it in my apartment. But that's really not important."
Again .. time and effort wasted trying to answer questions for snsurone who is not interested in the answers, only in asking the questions. Gotta wonder "why bother?"
