That looks awesome hardball. I can't wait to see the new season of 'The Runaways' but I am confused over why it isn't starting until December where a lot of the other shows like 'The Gifted' which is also a Marvel show as you know are starting earlier and I am hoping we get it in December here and don't have to wait until next year. I am looking forward to what they do with Karolina and Nico this season and also seeing what they do with Karolina's Father. I think he is the worst out of all the parents and I am still confused over what him and Karolina are supposed to be and hope they address that more.

I don't know anything about the show premiere date either Deb. Maybe platforms like Hulu and Netflix have different playdates compared to the regular TV networks where most new seasons air around fall. Or maybe the Runaways finished production later, I don't know. Anyway I like the trailer and based on what was shown, Karolina and Nico's relationship will continue to evolve. Season 1 seems like an eternity ago and I need to do a recap as I've forgotten some of the details. But yeah I want to see how evil the show will make the parents out to be.

It sure looks that way and an earlier report I posted on here a few weeks ago said Karolina and Nico's relationship was going to be a big part of Season 2. I haven't read the comic books yet 'cause I am too busy reading other to start a new series yet but another member on here told me in the comic books the parents were very different and were portrayed as being fully fledged villains and they had ties to other Marvel villains like the Kingpin. I think it would be interesting if they changed it and made it that at least one or two of the parents was good and sided with their children. I know what it is like to have horrible parents and mine never did any of the things the parents in this show did but they were pretty awful but not all parents are as bad as mine were so I think it would be nice to see one or two change sides out of love for their children.

Looks good but the lesbian kiss is so forced. That romance came out of nowhere last season. No offense Deb

It's not like you're against lesbian romance. I think everybody on the Arrow board should understand our dislike for romance that comes out of nowhere.

It is hard to something is forced when they are a couple in the comics and they are just following the source material like they did with Lois Lane and Clark Kent and Peter Parker and Mary Jane but the set up and launch was a mess and there should have been more done to set Neeko up to be with Karolina because the relationship felt one sided. There were no signs that Neeko was a lesbian like there were with Karolina. Still better handled than the Black Widow and Hulk relationship so I'll give them that. Why did that even happen? Deb said it wasn't in the comics and they only made it for the movie.

Neeko doesnt necessarily have to be a lesbian, could be bi too. As for Hulk and Black Widow, yeah thats a fair point but I thought a quiet bar was an organic way to start a romance and they were just flirting from memory and then later the attraction only grew

There was no build up between the characters before they kissed though which is why it felt like it had come out of nowhere and there were no signs of Neeko having feelings for Karolina but there were no signs that Neeko was into man either and it was painfully obvious she wasn’t attracted to Alex the same way he was to her and there was more sexual attraction between Karolina and Neeko after that first kiss than there had ever been with Neeko and Alex the entire season.

It hasn't been officially confirmed the woman who Virginia is posting all those photos with is her a girlfriend. It looks like she might be by some of the comments Virginia has been making about them and she said in an interview she isn't straight but it could just be one of her friends and they like to cuddle and play around with a lot. Then again that's what we did when we were kids and look at us. I just wanted to say to everybody I am avoiding reading any of the spoilers for 'The Runaways' which is why I am not posting about it and have only seen a few things like two scenes from it but Season 2 of 'The Runaways' officially returns here in Australia tomorrow night and I am looking forward to seeing it!!

Huh. Says image signature has expired. Whatever that means. Makes me curious what the pic was. I saw the picture Beccy posted but I don't remember what it was now and Beccy doesn't either. I think it was a picture of Virginia kissing a woman she said she was out on a date with but I think that might have only been her friend and they were playing around for the picture. I don't know if Virginia is a lesbian in real life or not but what I do know is she has the leading role in a new Horror movie coming out this year called 'Starfish' and here is an article about that and the official trailer. A.T. White’s Breathtaking Apocalyptic Cosmic Horror STARFISH Starring Virginia Gardner Unveils New Dreamlike Illustrated Poster Virginia Gardner, star of the hit Hulu show Marvel’s Runaways, leads breathtaking apocalyptic cosmic horror
With reality rapidly fraying at the edges, Aubrey finds herself following a string of clues left after the death of her best friend. Clues leading to a mysterious signal that could save the world.
Ahead of its US release next month, The Fan Carpet are delighted to bring you the Dreamlike Illustrated Poster from award-winning comic book artist Cameron Stewart and lucid New Trailer, for A.T. White's Breathtaking Apocalyptic Cosmic Horror STARFISH Starring Virginia Gardner, courtesy of Yellow Veil Pictures!
In Starfish Virginia Gardner (Halloween 2018, Marvel’s The Runaways) stars as Aubrey, a young woman suffering from the death of a close friend. When a mysterious signal from an unknown dimension summons the end of days, it appears as if only Aubrey is left on earth. Trapped in the apartment of her recently deceased best friend, the only clue she has is a single cassette left behind after her friends death, labeled: "THIS MIXTAPE WILL SAVE THE WORLD."
Thrust into a mystery orchestrated by her friend and stricken with grief, Aubrey begins to piece the clues together, uncovering a series of tapes all with pieces of the mystery signal. Along the way, progress is impeded when monstrous creatures begin to overrun the world and enclose in on her. Aubrey is forced to fight off the encroaching creatures and move beyond her own crippling grief in order to find the remaining tapes. But will completing the signal save the world?
Director A.T. White (part of the popular UK band Ghostlight) composed the captivating score, while the film’s soundtrack features songs from Sigur Rós, Sparklehorse, Why? and more, creating a unique audio landscape that matches Starfish‘s apocalyptic world.
The dreamlike STARFISH poster is designed by award-winning comic artist Cameron Stewart, best known for his work on Catwoman, written by Ed Brubaker, numerous collaborations with writer Grant Morrison, including Batman and Robin, Seaguy, Seven Soldiers: The Manhattan Guardian, and the Eisner Award nominated The Other Side, as well as Fight Club 2, the illustrated meta-sequel to the cult film, written once again by Chuck Palahniuk.
STARFISH is written and directed by A.T. White and produced by We Are Tessellate, Spellbound Entertainment and 3ROUNDBURST Productions. The film stars Virginia Gardner (Blumhouse's HALLOWEEN, Hulu's Runaways) and features supporting performances from Christina Masterson (Power Rangers Megaforce), Eric Beecroft, Natalie Mitchell and Tanroh Ishida. Starfish will be released on VOD later this year by 1091 Media's The Orchard.
