And now 58 in a 145-142 OT loss to the Nets. This is looking pitiable now. Rockets have no real center. And even there makeshift starter House left them. We got another guy who was going to Europe for a 10 day contract. I think Harden may just get injured if CP3 doesn't come back. Right now it seems we have a G-league team. I see more defeats unless we get healthy (CP3) or get someone who can defend the rim.

Nets fan here. This was a MIRACULOUS game. Why didn't Rockets use Hartenstein? He was in G-league and has been recalled just a day back. In any case I don't think he is going to play a lot even going forward. That said I would have still tried him again and not the utterly despicable M Chriss. No Capela means doom for us. We need to sign a center. We need to get healthy. Harden looks gassed out with all the ball handling. CP3 at max contract is probably a mistake but we had no other choice. This is the best year of Harden and we need to give him all we can. I fear going on extensive losing streak with so many injuries.

Harden was distraught in the locker room. Had to be calmed down by Tucker (ended with a handshake)
0 assists on his baskets in the two games. 23 shots in isolation.
13 of last 238 shots assisted, 7 by Capela.
Rockets were 23-70 on 3s vs Nets.
Gordon should be back, though.

To be honest even we can miss playoff Shady....because every team except suns is a playoff contender and we are so banged up. It's difficult to watch the games. Even Lakers will beat us next. Harden is playing with G-league.

Rivers/Harden/Gordon/Tucker/Nene wont be HORRIBLE. We will be small af. Id go: Harden/Gordon/Rivers/Tucker/Nene or at least make Rivers guard the 3. (well him and Gordon are 6'4). I honestly dont see how we can sit Rivers. Do you know the lineup, I heard even Ennis is out.

Capela's thumb surgery went as planned Thursday and he's expected to return in 4-to-6 weeks, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.
Gordon said his knee is "feeling okay" despite exiting Wednesday's loss to the Nets in the fourth quarter, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.

Once upon a time he was seen as would be a superstar but he averaged a mere 5 points last season playing for an average team like Denver (last season's Denver). So I am not sure what to make of it. Could he be good for us?

Faried is the same player he was in his heyday with Nuggets.
He doesn't fit in with Nets, a team that really needs more size.
With Chris Paul back, he might fit Rockets better.
But I see no reason Nets would want to cut Faried, unless it's to sign one of their two-way players to a regular NBA contract.
Sorry, but this will come up as part of your post

Sorry, but this will come up as part of your post Many wesbites are claiming that Faried could soon join Rockets and see a lot of minutes at Rockets. I agree with you that he didn't fit in with the nets but even at Denver his stats declined over the years and last year he was averaging just 5 points although he played just 14 minutes. I think Rockets might try to give him around 21-22 minutes. If he can put 9 ppg I will consider it good for us.
Brooklyn Nets forward/center Kenneth Faried has agreed to a contract buyout, clearing the way for him to sign a free agent deal with the Houston Rockets, league sources told ESPN.

Good luck to Faried. I thought he should have gotten more playing time with the Nets

What a good game for Eric Gordon. Nice to see him get back in rhythm.
And what an unselfish man is Harden. Even the commentators who dislike him acknowledged that. Guy got 50 in his last 2 games and was on 48 points and didn't try to go for 50 by taking inbound. Geeting the Win was the most important thing for him and he let the plays that were in the interest of the team. He could have easily got a 50 here.
It was deflating to lose against nets when we had the game in our hands. But it feels good to steal one from Lakers after being 20 down.

TEE-JAY is 'Tee-Jayying' tonight. Spunky lil engernetic gritty tough nosed bugger hounding Harden who has 2 fouls. One of the reasons I want to keep him as a 3rd PG even if it's the 10th-12th man on the bench - provides spark and energy.
