Not too thrilled about this. They missed the point of pennywise and I'm not really a big fan of remakes. A bold claim to make considering you haven't seen the film yet.

This was my favorite Stephen King Novel and I was painfully disappointed in the first adaptation. I hope they stick more to the book and don't make the usual Hollywood changes. With luck maybe this one will turn out better cause I didn't find the first scary at all. Sad thing is that they seem to have a hit or miss success rate when it comes to adapting King's work.

True there, though why the hell do we have to wait till freakin' SEPTEMBER to find out though? ...Because September isn't as busy a month as the Summer movie season or the Halloween horror filmfest season? And they could still be working on the special effects, both practical and CGI. Dude, there are any number of perfectly legitimate reasons for the film not to come out until then. I'd be more worried if it was a January release.

I guess we'll have to wait and see if this will be good come September. I think that the trailer might have raised my expectations a little bit.

I'd like to say one final thing, though: horror film trailers are supposed to show off the spooky moments above all else. I don't think we can say if they got Pennywise right or not until we see the context of we've been shown so far.

Yeh. And we got a pretty solid thought provoking trailer.

Definitely! I liked the mini series, but have never bought it and probably never will. Just not a priority.
From the looks of the trailer I think I'll like this version more.

It looks ok. I don't have high hopes for it. Hopefully I am proven wrong.
