Just watched The Invisible Guardian on Netflix. This film should be renamed "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night". Because most of the film takes place at night and its ALWAYS RAINING !!!"
It's about a serial killer in northern Spain. Remind me never to vacation in northern Spain because apparently its ALWAYS RAINING !!!
Anyway the star of the movie is a female ex-FBI agent who apparently is a star detective. But her analytical skills don't carry over to her personal life. Supposedly her step mother was a child abusing psychopath. But she still has not come to grips with that.
Lastly, most of the movie is in Spanish. And often these Spanish speaking people talk so fast, it was exhausting trying to follow the closed captions. Thank goodness for the pause and go back buttons on the remote. At times I literally had to pause at every statement. Read it, digest it and move on. Or go through one scene reading the captions. And then go back and watch it again to see what happened because I cannot read constant fast speaking dialogue and watch the scenes at the same time.
