I swear.....I keep saying it and it is 100 percent true!
The "STAR WARS" Franchise took a MASSIVE Negative Hit the exact moment that "STAR WARS" Fans decided all by themselves that they had the right to tell DISNEY what it could and could not do with it's "STAR WARS" Movies when in reality, they have NO SAY in the matter and that is 100 percent the right decision.
I am glad that JJ Abrams and Chris Terrio finished the script for "EPISODE IX" before "THE LAST JEDI" even first opened in Movie Theaters and fans saw it for the first time.

Star Wars took a massive dive in Disney era when you were not free to criticize, without be labeled as racist/sexist etc. Unfortunately, it is just a fact that the Star Wars haters are disproportionately racist and sexist, not to mention just plain stupid. Note the word "disproportionately" there, by the way--I know there are plenty out there who hate Disney's take on the franchise and are neither sexist, racist, nor stupid.

The only time Disney will truly listen to Star Wars fans is when the fans communicate with their money. With Solo flopping, that's when Disney finally started to listen to fans in regards to the Star Wars output from Disney.

I think to make Star Wars great again you need:
1.) Some good stories that don't rehash what was already done. The Force Awakens being a bland remake of A New Hope and it's poor story decisions set a bad foundation for the rest of the films. This is a huge universe with multiple worlds, alien cultures, super powers, politics, etc. Why remake previous installments?
2.) Don't need to fill in the untold gaps of every famous character. I guess it was fun to see how Rogue One got the Death Star plans and how Han met Chewie, but were they really necessary? Leave some things to the audience's imagination and don't over explain every detail.
3.) Take a break in between installments. There was a reason why Lucasfilm took three years in between installments of the Original and Prequel trilogies. It allowed them to take time with the production and make the audience anticipate the upcoming film more. When they release a new SW film every six months or a year, it's too much. I certainly felt the SW fatigue.

To make Star Wars great again you need to
1) Fire everyone currently in charge
2)Dial down the Jedi stuff. It's been done. Explore the space pirate and other aspects of the universe.
3) Add Jawas. Lots of Jawas.

Supreme Leader Kylo Ren@newsupremeleader “The record is quite remarkable. Disney has faithfully followed the SJW agenda they laid out in 2015. People should focus on the box office results, and they’re extraordinary!”
Supreme Leader Kylo Ren@newsupremeleader SW ticket sales highest in 13 years, movie making jobs highest in many years. “It’s the story of the Disney Corporation, the Economic Success, that’s unnerving their detractors.”
Supreme Leader Kylo Ren@newsupremeleader Kathleen Kennedy of Lucasfilm Ltd. proclaims “...unwavering faith in Disney Corporation.” Thank you to Kathleen. We will get it done together!

Galactic Empire: Obi Wan Kenobi Was Killed After Fight On Death Star
May 25, 1977
Authorities have film of Mr Kenobni being murdered, according to Yavin media.
The Galactic Empire has said Obi Wan Kenobi was killed onboard the Death Star after a fight broke out.
Mr Kenobi, 62, went missing on May 25 1977, during a visit to the Death Star and intense pressure had been growing on the Empire to explain his disappearance.
The Empire's public prosecutor was quoted on the HoloNet as saying that a fight broke out between Mr Kenobi and Lord Vader, leading to his death.
It contradicts the country's initial claim that the Old Wizard - who was critical of the Empire's rulers - had left the Space Station alive.
The HoloNet said the Empire "expresses its deep regret" over Mr Kenobi's death.
There has been no word about what was done with Mr Kenobi's body.

Disney disrespected the fan base by treating them as a cash cow that would automatically pay them huge profits for every film, and therefore, they needed to get those films out on an industrial production line every six months to a year. Therefore, it almost didn't matter what the film was about, it just needed to be made asap.

http://instagr.am/p/BpIus9kB0bM ^Kathleen Kennedy would label this pic as "Those toxic male oppressors who stand in my way of making Star Wars a girls only "YA" brand."

After the prequels and these last few pieces of trash, I don't know if Star Wars can ever recover. It's like the British car industry, after WW2 they still had tons of manufacturers and made some good cars for the era. Then the '70s hit and it was one bad thing after another until the whole manufacturing base imploded. They also told the British consumer, here are your cars, we don't care what you think! Same mentality as Disney.
