I've met and seen a ton of celebrities (Jack Nicholson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kelsey Grammar, Shari Belafonte, James Woods, Charo, Sinbad, and so many more, too many to name), but I just recently found out my Grandmothers' cousin was married to Cesar Romero. Wow!!! That must have been freaky to find out you had a distant relative married to a famous TV star!!! It was pretty cool.

QEII in her car during a parade (and assumedly Prince Charles since he was likely sitting next to her). David Cameron in a session of parliament after the Queen's speech last year. Bernie Sanders when he came to campaign for Hillary at my uni last year.

Bernie Sanders when he came to campaign for Hillary at my uni last year. That was where I saw Queen Elizabeth II also: in her car returning to Buckingham Palace. Prince Philip was the one sitting next to her at the time.

I shook hands with Jay Leno once when he was preparing for his standup comedy act at a local convention. I believe he was doing it to raise money for charity in the early 2000s. I also saw Larisa Oleynik in the early 2000s when she was preforming an act at the local arts center. Too bad, I never bothered to ask for an autograph in both scenarios.

Not counting local celebrities, or celebrities I've seen in concert: Hedrick Smith, Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, William Shatner, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Adrian Paul and Elizabeth Gracen.
Smith and Nimoy spoke at local universities during the 80's (not together and not at the same university), everyone else I saw or spoke to at Star Trek conventions or at the one Highlander convention I attended.

I met some of the cast of Stephen King's Pet Sematary, when they were in Maine filming the movie. Brad Greenquist, who played the ghost, Pascow," was there, all made-up exactly like in the film. And Dale Midkiff and Denise Crosby were also there.

Met: Bette Davis, Joan Bennett, Jimmy Stewart, Tom Hanks, Jane Fonda, Janet Leigh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jessica Lange, Emma Stone, William Shatner, David Selby (of Dark Shadows), Betty Grable, Richard Gere, Phyllis Diller Saw: Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton (in Private Lives), Eve Arden, Patty Duke and John Astin, Sandy Dennis, Robert Conrad, Jonathan Frid, Susan Hayward, Olivia Newton-John. OMG! I'd be screaming like a fan girl with some of these! In particular Bette Davis, Joan Bennett, Janet Leigh, David Selby, Jonathan Frid.... That's absolutely incredible! My hometown, where I spent most of my life, was utilized as a filming location for an extensive number of films, and it also was not uncommon for groups of us to be extras (uncredited) as well. It's very interesting to watch a movie and recognize your town landmarks (not to mention how irritating it is when they misrepresent the geography and screw the streets up). I had a partner who was a tattoo artist, and as such, drew quite the extensive crowd from musicians to actors, so it wasn't unusual to have famous people around. Been to a few parties with the jet setters, but wouldn't call them friends. But we hung around a very artsy crowd. My mementos that I've got now for reflection include some Polaroids (yes, seriously, I know right?), some original artwork. I did COS-play for a little bit, and we meet quite the eclectic crowd in those circles.

Pet Sematary was filmed in Bangor, Maine...but my home town of Waterville was also the "set" for an HBO mini-series called "Empire Falls." It was quite star-studded, with Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Ed Harris, Aidan Quinn (who was arrested for an OUI), Helen Hunt, Philip Seymour Hoffman and a few more luminaries. My mom, who was a crossing guard met Paul Newman and shook his hand!

Wow re all the above. No Hollywood stars but some UK people I recall.
I met Chris Rankin who starred in the Harry Potter films in 2003. He came to visit our school and signed lots of autographs. Nice guy. I saw Eric Lampaert of the 'VIVA' adverts crossing the road in London somewhere, I think he sensed me looking at him as I was trying to put a face to the name. I saw Stuart Ashen of 'Ashens' around where I live, he had earphones in and I fanboy'd pretty hard, I think I came across a bit weird. Not my finest moment, if you're reading this sorry Mr. Ashen.

When I was a teen, I lived in Florida, and I was in Jr High School with Jocelyn Steiner. www.imdb.com/name/nm0825946/ She was in a couple of my classes. Then she was cast in a lead role in the teen TV Series "Welcome Freshmen" (1991-1993) www.imdb.com/title/tt0101235/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_3 , which was filmed in Orlando, Florida. My best friend was also an extra on the show. .. Not very impressive now, but it was cool at the time.
