Something They Need
So the Oceanside leader is another wack job. Either she lets Rick take the guns and some of their members join the Savior fight OR she kills Tara, Rick's crew kills her then Rick takes their guns and some members join their fight anyway? Are the writers really making her character believable?

What character or characters got killed in tonight's episode and how did they die ? Just David, one of the Saviors (the Enid creeper), killed by Negan.

Are the writers really making her character believable? There really isn't much doubt at this point that this is not a well-written show. I haven't watched in a couple of weeks and this episode reminded me why. I don't know why I am wasting my time.

A definite positive of the episode is that it featured all the characters (for the most part), in my mind that is a good starting point.

I actually liked this episode, pretty good balance. Will review later It was entertaining but the whole Oceanside aspect was dumb. The leader is suddenly a crazy willing to die for what logical reason? Rick's crew using up valuable dynamite for what exactly? Then the walkers suddenly show up even though Rick said earlier the area is mostly clear of them. And of course they had to use guns and lots of bullets to stop them even though between Rick's people and Oceanside were a large group and could've killed them all much more quietly.

Like you said, entertaining, but dumb. I have given up on anything other than dumb with this show. The only way I can enjoy it is to shut off all logic and reasoning in my brain. It does eat at me later on when I think about it, though. Seemed quite a dick move, after being reduced to a pussy for Negan, now Rick is all bad-ass against a bunch of WOMEN AND CHILDREN! Yeah you're a bad-ass Rick. The one good thing is they made it fast. I DIDN'T want to go through more begging for help, pleading cases, being rejected again, long speeches, etc, etc... They just took the shit. Didn't leave them one gun to defend themselves, (really)?
