A few days ago I saved a lady who was abducted and on some guys horse.
I roped him off, hogtied him, put him on my horse.
I was calming his horse when the lady jumped on it and rode off.
I rode to a secluded place and took some selfies of myself wearing the skull mask and holding a knife over my hogtied chum... felt creepy doing it.

I dropped one off a cliff, another got run over by a train...i tried feeding one to a crocodile but the croc wouldnt bite...however he was in shallow water just deep enough to make his watery gasps pleasing to the ears until eventually i put a bullet in him. Early in the game the O Driscolls jumped me and killed my horse...so i hold a grudge against every man woman or child that ever brings the violence to me. RIP Tater Trot

I *finally* got it. It can be a little frustrating. For instance, some woman was inprisoned in a carriage so I went to help her. I shot her captors but couldn't figure out how to open the carriage so suddenly the NPCs (including her) think I'm the kidnapper and I get shot to death along with a bounty on my head. That's what I get for being nice... I also learned the hard way to manually save my spots in case my horse dies. My Arabian horse that I broke in chapter 2 died without me even noticing in chapter 6. I was pretty pissed about that. Nothing I could do because my last manual save had been a few missions ago. Now I save frequently. I was early enough in Chapter 2 that I actually started the game over to save Shire. Kinda hasty decision making. --- Noticed a few movie homages. The train robbery in Chapter 2 in reminiscent of Assassination of Jesse James, and the guy doing gunslinger bios is an obvious reference to Unforgiven. Anyone have a favorite weapon? Mine so far is the pump shotgun.

With guns...the pump shotty or just whatever my pistol is. I think i have the Scofield now.

When I found the white arabian I had to chase it up a mountain before I could tame it. When I finally did I started to ride down the mountain when a pack of wolves jumped us. The horse freaked out resulting in us rolling down the side of the mountain killing the horse in the process. I quickly shut down the game and the horse respawned. It only lasted about a week though. I got ambushed by a gang when coming out of a bridge. They made swiss cheese out of us both. When I respawned I had a different horse.

Finished 90% of the story...basically the main story and the first follow up epilogue. (there are at least 2) Final 10 minutes or so with Arthur were downright heartbreaking. From the moment he says goodbye to Sadie and Abigail til his sunset on the mountain...goddamn. And George Horsington! Nearly brought to tears. The first epilogue is probably a little longer but i get the point of it. Showing John really trying to get to a straight life and bonding closer with Abigail and Jack along the way, despite their momentary differences. At first i wasn't sure how id feel about it, in a world without Arthur...having gotten to know him so well. But it does kind of bring you back up from the place we were at with him and the Van Der Linde gang going to shit. Hoping the second epilogue provides the proper amount of closure to this story.

It got me pretty good too. I've never played a game where the story affected me so much. I liked the Epilogue for the most part. I won't give away any spoilers. For me it was bittersweet. Like you said, it's cool seeing John grow up and become a family man, but I did find myself missing the old gang.

Finished the game yesterday. 100% complete.
There is a final cutscene with John Marston visiting Arthur's grave if you achieve total completion.

Some guys chased me down into the bushes at night and kept hogtying me in the darkness.
It seemed all the more obscene because I was only wearing pants (no hat, shirt or shoes).
Later on, I realized I should have attempted to parley with my tormentors. I could have said 'You guys are making me squeal like a pig!'

I finally finished the story mode a couple of months ago, exactly two years after buying it. It wasn't too difficult or anything, I just began to find the missions increasingly repetitive and took longer and longer breaks. This guy made a pretty good video which I agree with a lot of:
