EVERYONE SAYS I LOVE YOU has a few creative musical numbers and the occasional funny moment, but it doesn't work as a whole because there are too many subplots. In one of them, a man gets access to a woman's confessions to her therapist, and he uses that to make her fall for him. This is shown as a simple invasion of privacy instead of a form of rape. How lovely! Woody Allen said he wanted the singing voices to be average for realism. I get the idea, but there's a difference between an average and a bad singer, which is what Allen and whoever dubbed Drew Barrymore are. Goldie Hawn is the only good singer in the movie. 4/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.
