Only seen rhapsody , it was fun and good to see once again that the classic false outrage the film received was proved to be unjustified as usual regarding the films supposed lack of referencing his sexuality and aids

I haven't seen the film yet, but it looks a tad superficial to me. Sasha Baron Cohen knew this and that is why he opted out. Well I’m Not talking about the films tone, but the noise from idiots who hadn’t seen the film is that they gloss over his sexuality and don’t mention aids which couldn’t be further from the truth. The two main themes of the film are family and his sexuality and that and aids are huge parts of the story and are the most serious parts of it. Everyone was 100% wrong on those counts months ago based on nothing but rumouts

Both are overrated in my view (I saw each three times in the theater), although A Star Is Born is more or less a good film ("pretty good/good" in my view). They are both sentimental and thus appeal to both popular whims and the Academy.

A Star Is Born was fantastic for me, actually made me tear up a bit at the end. Bohemian Rhaspody I have to admit I think I liked as much as I did just because I love Queen and enjoyed the music and seeing it being made.

Bohemian is O.K., loved the live aid scene.
I liked A Star Is Born. Bradley Cooper did a good job directing, IMO.

Bohemian Rhapsody is good, but all the mistake they made can get annoying.
While i like A Star Is Born, i think its very overrated.
