I'm trying to remember the name of a film I saw several years ago. I believe it was something I recorded off of TCM late night. It basically was an early 1930's film about Great War veterans in a hotel (mostly). I believe at least two of the vets were fighting over a girl and most of them stayed drunk most of the time. I'm pretty sure it was an early 1930's film and not earlier because it was definitely not a silent film. It was very "talkie" and there wasn't much action. I thought it was interesting since it seemed like a fairly early portrayal of what we call PTSD nowadays but I guess it was more like the 1000 yard stare or war nerves like they called it back then. It possibly could have been a British film but I'm pretty sure it was American. Any ideas?

Thanks, yeah that was it. I'm surprised I forgot the title. Richard Barthelmess is one of my favorite actors that transitioned from the silent era. I appreciate it!
