I loved the starz mini series The white queen was the best , then was the white princess now the Spanish princess. But before that she marries Arthur, The Prince of Wales yes she does and then Arthur dies ( the curse of tudor first born men dying) and then has to marry Henry- i think if Arthur had lived he would have respected her more , henry treated her badly -henry VIII was really terrible his father wasnt like that i guess he took after the grandmother henrys VII mother.

Well me must be fair Henry did not treat Catherine badly trough the whole marriage and he was for a period a good father towards Mary. It was not until he met Anne in if i remember correctly in 1522 that he started to threat Catherine and Mary badly. Of course i could be wrong i am far from an expert on this but based on the little i have read about it. it seems that between 1509 and 1522 Henry did treat both Catherine and Mary in a proper manner. And that it was not until he met Anne and that it was clear that Catherine would not give him any more children (sons) that he started to threat both Catherine and Mary badly. No based on what i have read Henry VII was a better father and husband than his son Henry. To be fair on Margaret Beaufort its not that strange that she was not the best mother, i mean if i am not mistaken she was only 13 when she gave birth to Henry VII. I also think if i remember correctly that Margaret was very close to die when she gave birth to Henry. That could be part of the reason why she was the way she was.

Why is it always Natalie Dormer's fault? She has a terrible influence on kings Plays them like fiddles…

Her mother was Janet McTeer. But yes, I realise Elizabeth's daughter was also named Elizabeth. Silly habit of recycling names all the time. They had Craster too…

ON THE WHITE QUEEN series there is a scene during the finale episode where Margaret Beaufort calls her son henry "he will come like a dragon " a lot GOT fans believe jon snow is partly based on king henryVII Margaret Beaufort son - his sympol was a dragon and was true air to the throne but didnt know for many years and had to fight for it and then the white queen ( elizabeth) who made a deal with Margaret Beaufort to marry her first born daughter also named elizabeth ( a red head) to henryVII -
editing to add im pretty sure cersei will offer a deal to jon after danys dismiss.

yes at the beginning it was a good marriage but he let temptation get in the way if he was a good king and husband he wouldn't cheat on katherine … The common thread through Henry VIII's marriages is the unfulfilled need for male heirs. The only queen who gave him one died 12 days later and one was not enough due to the risk of early mortality.

But you have to remember that in those days it was normal for a king to have a mistress. It was not seen as cheating. Well its true that Henry liked Mary Boleyn more, now its true that she was his mistress before Anne ( and its also possible that Catherine Carey and Henry Carey the first two child of Mary Boleyn was actually the illegitimate children of Henry VII I.) But Henry got tired of Mary and set his eyes on Anne and he did as far as i know like Anne better than Mary. Also you should not take history lessons from movies. And i don`t think there is any historical evidence that Anne did cheat on Henry. B
