Just curious, since my knowledge on 1990s TV isn't as extensive as it should be, which hit shows of the 1990s do you think are unjustly forgotten?

I'm just going to preface this by saying I am not always sure what a "Hit show" was as being in Australia these shows tended to turn up at very odd times and did not always reflect their popularity (or not) in America.
The Larry Sanders Show American Gothic Herman's Head The Hogan Family Judging Amy Lois And Clarke The Naked Truth

I loved this show. Im never really into comedy shows. I usually don't find them funny, but this was my type of humour. Like the poster above me, I don't really if a show I watched was a hit, but these are a few shows I watched in the 90's But I hardly see people talking about these shows. Northern Exposure Quantum Leap Dinosaurs Millenium Profiler

I don't know if it ever was a hit over its four seasons or so run, but The Pretender.

Lois and Clark for me. I watched it all the time when it was originally airing, and I really enjoyed it. It could just be that I was younger then, but the characters seemed to have a good chemistry with each other. For the time, the plots were also very creative. John Shea was a geat Lex Luthor IMO.

I wish that the rest of the Perfect Strangers show was on DVD. So far only the first and second season has been released. Also I am waiting for the Step By Step show to be released on DVD.
God bless you always!!!

The Larry Sanders Show American Gothic Herman's Head The Hogan Family Judging Amy Lois And Clarke The Naked Truth I don't really consider Judging Amy to be a 90s show since it started in fall of 1999 but it's a great show nonetheless. I wish it was on DVD. Sadly because Fox And CBS co-produced it, it's not on dvd. Amy herself said so here Syndication for it stinks in the usa as well. TNT had repeats until 2007. Then it took 4 years for another network to get it in 2011. and that Network was UPTV, formerly GMC, which stood for Gospel Music Channel. They are a religious network that edits shows, skips entire episodes and also bleeps language. They made Judging Amy so unbearable to watch. now Up barely airs it anymore

Xena: The Warrior Princess and Hercules
Of course they may not really have been hit shows. But they seem to be forgotten by most.

Ironically I just read John Douglas's book The Cases that Haunt Us, last case was the JonBenet Ramsey case, and he mentioned these two shows when questioning why the writer of the ransom note would use the word 'beheaded', along with Highlander.

YES! I love Pepper Ann, I miss it. I wish it would get released on DVD, I especially loved Dances with Ignorance.

The fact that they are largely forgotten today is odd considering how popular they were at the time.... In fact, the only reason Hercules ended was because they couldn't get Kevin Sorbo to commit to three more seasons.
