So…Reddit fans are the best at coming up with some killer plans and theories as to what will happen with their characters on any show, but particularly Game of Thrones. In the latest thought, presented by KeDoG3, it appears that not only are we already aware of what might happen – but we’ve already seen it back in season two. Discussing his thoughts, he said: ‘There seems to be a very major hint that seems to have gone over people’s heads when it was first shown. Daenerys’ fate being hinted, if not foreshadowed in the House of the Undying. ‘When Daenerys enters the tower she has a vision of the Throne Room blanketed in snow and destroyed then passes through to see Khal Drogo and their dead son. While this is a vision, this is a major dropped hint by GRRM and the producers on Daenerys’ fate.’ Read more: metro.co.uk/2018/09/22/game-of-thrones-theory-did-daenerys-targaryen-see-her-final-fate-all-the-way-back-in-season-two-7970226/?ito=cbshareTwitter: twitter.com/MetroUK | Facebook: www.facebook.com/MetroUK/‘The hint is that Daenerys will die in the fight for King’s Landing between the White Walkers and the combined Westerosi army. Now the Khal Drogo and their son portion is Daenerys passing to the Shadowlands that the Dothraki believe is the afterlife. ‘Khal Drogo is obviously believed to be in the Shadowlands by the Dothraki and remember that Daenerys did in fact give birth to the two’s son, but that the witch doctor killed the baby due to it’s grotesque appearance. ‘That would solidify that Daenerys has foreseen her ultimate death and that the fate of Daenerys has been foreshadowed since the Finale of Season 2.’ So…there you have it. Could Daenerys’ vision not just be a dream, but a prophecy of what her fate was? Only another six months or so until we know the truth… Game of Thrones returns next year on HBO, Sky Atlantic and NOW TV. I always interpreted Daenerys' visions as a premonition of how she would react, what choices she would make. To me, they were like dreams in which she realised that she would sacrifice her wishes, like the family she never had with Drogo, or her dearest goal, like taking the Iron Throne, and heed the call of her dragons instead, the call of duty so to say, abandoning her conquest and putting her weapons to better use.
It is the adult interpretation. Of course, there is also that of fantasy fools who want to see a world in which visions or prophecies come true. I used to think GRRM was above such stupidities but I lost faith in that with the Hodor nonsense and even more in the will of the showrunners to make that story end in an intelligent way. So anything is possible, really. They can't make it any worse than it already is anyway.

LOL

LOL Everything shown so far is set up. Building expectations is the basis for having a plot twist, so prophecies must be made to look like they are being fulfilled. And he couldn't possibly say anything else, neither that all would come true or none of them. My guess is that whatever happens, there will be some prophecy looking half fulfilled. It's like predicting the weather. Someone will get it right at some point.

Possibly. I remember of people having discussions back in the old board regarding the snow on the Iron Throne to meant that Jon Snow would be king.

Possibly. I remember of people having discussions back in the old board regarding the snow on the Iron Throne to meant that Jon Snow would be king. The ruined, abandoned throne room covered in snow means that power doesn't matter when winter comes. This is the Stark motto and their attitude. The bare needs of survival make the vanities of power irrelevant. Daenerys would be made to see that urgent matters are elsewhere and guess what, this is what happened in S7. She was seen to postpone her conquest to address the danger she saw in the north. Besides, what does the throne really mean at this point when support for it dwindles? You can fully expect morons not to understand any of this.
