Saw it once in theaters.
It is much worse than I realized.
Why would anyone care about any of these characters?
Oh, that's right, they don't.

Never seen it. Probably never will. I just can't accept anyone but Ford in the role.

Never seen it. Probably never will. I just can't accept anyone but Ford in the role. I could not believe how bad it was. I must have had rose colored glasses on the first time.

I saw it 3 times, for me it remains stable at 6.5 (admittedly with an added fanboy bonus).
I think the first half with the speeder chase and the train heist is pretty solid fanfiction, the second half on Kessel and the Kessel Run is bad and unimaginative fanservice. Robosexual, cape-fetish Pando is a joke, the cinematography is underlit and ugly at places.

For me, the best part of Star Wars is getting to imagine what's next. It is a serial, matinee, cliffhanger soap opera.
I just don't need to be filled in on a character I feel I've known for 40 years. I'll probably check it out on Netflix someday to see if there was anything about Solo revealed that really makes me see something different in who he was. I'm guessing it will just fill me in on what he did.
I feel the same way about the Kenobi film, meh.

I don’t see it as Han. Or Lando. It’s just not. But I did enjoy it, Much more than I expected. It’s a fun little Space Heist/Western, with excellent world-building and a great, well-acted cast, Mostly in the supporting roles.
