Seriously?! They spent the whole episode teasing RICK's death only to have him do a sacrifice that wasn't really needed (there were other ways to solve the problem)? Only to then reveal he's alive?! What a waste of time!
I know MAGGIE isn't the protagonist and she hasn't been on the show as long as RICK, but why not give her a send off too?
I hope NEGAN was manipulating MAGGIE with reverse psychology (saying "Kill me" knowing she wouldn't do it), because seeing him cry and beg like that was pathetic. If you're gonna have your antagonist do that (especially one who has been a larger-than-life person so far), do it in his final episode. As far as I know, he's staying in the show.
Edit: I had forgotten about the news about movies starring RICK. That's no excuse for this joke of a send-off.

I liked the way they concluded Ricks story, especially because I thought it was ridiculous they were advertising the episode of Lincolns last episode, which heavily implied he was going to die. Looking forward to the movies.
Maggie will be back at some point I'm sure. I really like the time jump, the show needed something like this. For the last couple of seasons, I've just been watching it through habit, not really looking forward to it. I'm finally excited to watch new episodes.

I did not like how they had Negan act and I didn't like the time jump they did. They show Carol as though she is an old woman, yet no one else has aged except for Rick's daughter, (whose name I've forgotten) and she is giving orders to everyone? And Michonne....Michonne....what can I say about how they are portraying her? I don't have the words. Then to have Jesus die?? Why? He was the only interesting person in Hilltop.

I'm on episode 12. Is Samantha Morton trying to emulate Tim Roth in PLANET OF THE APES? Even the masks make them both look kind of similar.

The Walking Dead was a show I had to watch every Sunday as it aired. It was one of my favorites. I am two seasons behind now. They are on my DVR. It has just gone so downhill.

Is anyone else hating the way TWD has gone in the past few episodes? I've had enough of 'the little kids shall lead the way' rubbish. Lovelorn teenager? Done. Kid bossing everyone around? Done. Do any adults in the show have an opinion or authority over anyone? Now even Daryl has given in and become one of the kiddie followers.

None of which would have happened in the first place if Henry and Darryl had thought of the well-being of the whole and not just the one. Speaking of which....how did the Whisperers manage to abduct all those people without anyone raising the alarm? It doesn't make much sense to me that they would just go along with them without putting up a fight and making a ruckus which would have alerted everyone else. Also, I hope they are going to hold the girl responsible for what happened - after all if she had raised the alarm about her mother, things would have been contained at once.
I'm really pissed at how things went down because from the beginning, I was hating the Henry/whatshername story.

This season has been surprisingly good lately. The last handful of episodes (except that weird ass Michonne one last week. WTF was up with that?) have been really good. This weeks episode was insane and a big surprise. But yeah pretty after Rick left the show turned to shit but has become good again lately. I just can't help imagining Rick still being here and how he'd deal with these new villains. That would make this even better.
