Actually... Spider-Man wasn't last scene into space.. The last thing that was heard was Tony sending him home. He stowed away on the ship in secrecy. Who heard that? It was the last thing that Iron Man broadcast in the earpieces. Granted one could argue that only Peter heard the "Time to go home" (not verbatim).. I'm assuming that everybody heard that... ...but, seriously, if it was just Peter...how the hell do those things actually work?

Peter was in an Iron Man suit when he said it, and roughly in speaking range, with the suspension of disbelief that they were in upper atmosphere and sound would travel normally. We’ll settle with that he was in an Iron Man suit

Trailer was fine. Nothing that really got me more hyped for the film however. I will say I'm glad that they didn't show seemingly any important plot points. The movie has my money anyways so I don't need the film to come out with any trailers going forward. I kind of wish that the only "trailer" that we got to see for the film was just a black screen showing the title of the film and the date of its release.
I'll also say that Endgame is a meh title and I'm fine with it. So many people on Reddit seemed to be so obsessed with what the title of the film was going to be. I never saw why it was such a big deal to guess about it. It's just the title of the movie, nothing that special in my eyes.

Lang is missing and presumed dead because he is no where to be seen. Spider-man was last seen going into space by Banner. Cap was in disbelief when he saw Lang at the gate. So he had to think he was dead. Why would the Avengers of all people immediately assume someone is dead because they went to space? Especially when Rocket AND Thor are there. Banner also knows Tony was with him, I think that would invoke some confidence. ‘’Missing” at best. And we don't know how long it has been. They could be continually making a tally of who is presumed dead. Plus, we only saw 3 photos. Tony might also be one of the photos there. Or this might even be after Tony has returned and he told them that Peter is one of the ones that died.

I'm familiar with the character, I don't think the average moviegoer would be though. I just think it's too vague a total. Average movie goer might not be, but comic book fans are. People pulled Eternity out of Star-Lord's eyes in GotG2. Thing is, they aren't making movies for super fans alone.

Doesn't matter because they are fans also. And they understand how people that know the comics would think. It's like naming a movie Ant-man: The Winter Soldier only to have the movie take place around Christmas with Punisher as the villain. I mean, think about my example in the previous post. They knew that people would notice Eternity in Star-Lord's eyes. That's why they did that.
