I am excited at the prospects of Jon's reunion with Arya and Bran. Would also love to see Littlefinger back in contact with some other major characters.

I truly hope so. Even if in season 8 but it should be somewhere. Don't want to see hound getting killed by some white walker or stupid wights. And great to finally see another fan of the one true king.  |

So even if she is not able to do much against the others, she can certainly take on legions of wights. She may be considered a villain but I have always loved her. |

So even if she is not able to do much against the others, she can certainly take on legions of wights. She may be considered a villain but I have always loved her. I don't see her as a villain as such, it's a difficult one because sacrificing people is horrific to 'us' and she's something of an extremist with her religon, BUT it's not all snake oil and miracles, she does actually have some powers so it's kinda grey. |

The sacrifices Melisandre asked for were nothing in comparison to those Ned Stark, Renly or Stannis caused by starting wars. She had people burned and yes, it is horrible. The others had people slaughtered by the thousands on battlefields and fools call it "honourable" or "badass". I call it worse. Anyone sending a soldier into battle is performing a human sacrifice. When Dothraki or Ironborn attack villages or cities to plunder, kill men and take women into slavery, sending men to risk their lives in their defense is justified. When someone thinks the prince is not the king's son and takes measures to topple the whole functioning system at the acute and accepted risk of civil war, I find different words. When Jon Snow decided to attack Winterfell with insufficient forces he caused more deaths out of stubborn stupidity and utter disregard for life than Melisandre ever did in her long life. I might not like her all too much but I dislike her less than all these life-despising jerks. At least she seems to know the value of what she sacrifices. The others didn't. |

She's a tricky one because she really believes in her religion and visions which paints her as the equivalent of a fundamentalist, but then we see her actually doing some magic later on so there's obviously something to her beliefs, whether she fully understands it or not. But burning Shireen was unforgivable.

Besides, it worked so anyone who liked that stupidity of an episode ought to be grateful for it:  Yes, soldiers have made a choice, but they all hope there will be as little war as possible and we all know it kills a lot else than those anyway. |

But burning Shireen was unforgivable. I don;t know if there's anything to her beliefs. I think at the end of the day, we will find that all the magic is connected. They are constantly hinting at this with the white walkers. How can they be killed by Valyrian steel when it wasn't invented yet? Why does it have the same effect as dragonglass? In any event, I think she and Stanis were horrible people for blindly following destiny on at the expense of everything else. |

The men she burned earlier could have recanted and mouthed the words to save themselves, soldiers know that being injured or killed is a strong possibility in their choice of career. Shireen had no way out of this situation. |

Arya and Jon and Sansa. Im looking forward to both for slightly different reasons. Arya and Jon for the love...Arya and Sansa just to see the reaction. Im sure it'd be full of love but they weren't exactly on great terms the last time they saw each other. It may also depend on the context of their meeting and if they decide to make Sansa align with Littlefinger further.

As much as I'm excited for big reuinions such as Tyrion and Jaime, and all the Starks. The one I'm most looking forward to is Arya and the Hound.

It seems Arya meeting her brother is most anticipated reunion. I love Arya. But I have a feeling that she will have a less important role this season.
