Now that all the speculation about the title for A4 is finally over, what do you think of the official title for the movie? I’m personally fine with it, although I don’t quite understand why there had to be so much secrecy surrounding it.

Really uninspired title, though I do love the Megadeth album.

I'm perfectly fine with it. Just don't understand why they had to keep it secret. All that did was create an unprecedented hype that the name now fails to satisfy.

I loved it when there was speculation that it’d be called that but after the Russo’s lied I feel somewhat disappointed by it. Just because I expected it to be different.

Works for me, although if we're being honest I didn't know there was any intrigue or secrecy about it. I just assumed it was going to be Infinity War II. But Endgame works.

It's ok but it's inferior to Age of Ultron and Infinity War.

At first I thought, “Oh....ok.” But then I realized that Compared to the typical schlock like Extinction or Apocalypse or Annihilation or whatever the next Resident Evil will have; or the super hokey stuff like ‘X2: X-Men United,’ ‘Dawn of Justice,’ and ‘The Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn’.... this is downright Shakespearean.

Not really. It appears to be a word first recorded to be used in regard to chess in 1880, quite young for a word.
So no I don’t like it. I would prefer something more elegant. You may argue the chess relevance but I’d say that it still isn’t enough.
Let’s face it, it’s a cynical marketing gimmick, trying to tease the doom of the characters.

Yes. It fits with what Dr Strange said about there being many patha fighting Thanos but only one shows the heroes winning.

I'll admit it doesn't read like it's from a comic book, but I think it works fine. Endgame is playing the last stage of chess and you have the final pieces on the board. The Avengers have to be strategic in order to defeat Thanos now that most of their allies are gone.

It's good, but it sounds more like a GoT series title.

My thoughts exactly why the hell didnt they announce it earlier like around the time of Infinity War?? They were talking about it like it was something like 'Avengers: Tony and Steve are both gonna die at the end". LOL. Just stupid.

Shouldn't we see the movie before deciding if the title is good or not?

I don't really see a problem. What the hell is wrong with people?
It's a title.
Who gives a damn what it's called as long as it's a good movie?
The people who hate Marvel are going to hate it. Who cares?

Let’s face it, it’s a cynical marketing gimmick, trying to tease the doom of the characters. Presumably, there will be doom for some of the characters, so it’s not cynical or a gimmick, at all.

Absolutely, because frankly, the MCU (& CBMs in general) will never ever be the same for me after it. I'm simply not as impressionable about the genre as I was 5-10-15yrs ago... For me, the MCU is Stark & Rogers. Everyone else is collateral.
Having said that, it's a bit of a hard stamp for them to commit to that sense of 'ending'. I guess Avengers 5 will be 're-assemble' or something.

No it's pretty feeble.
End Game End Lame
Given their less than serious approach I would have expected something like
The Avengers: Game Over Dudes
