The case of the Mary Celeste ghost ship.
Not trying to rain on your parade here, but...
The Mary Celeste was called a "Ghost" ship because it was found "Sailing" without a crew... I've never heard of anyone claiming that paranormal (hauntings) events were taking place on board...
We're there claims later on that the missing crew was haunting the ship?
Not sure if it would do well as a movie...
In my opinion, the Mary Celeste should have never been called a "Ghost" ship... Other ships, and planes have too... But none involved spirits roaming the decks...
"Runway" trains, such as the "
CSX 8888 Incident", which took place on May 15, 2001, had no one at the controls, and it wasn't called a Ghost Train...
I have heard that there are some "genuine" Phantom ships, planes, trains, & automobiles though...
Maybe one of those?
How about a sequel to "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" (1987), featuring the Ghost of Del Griffith, and his phantom vehicles, picking up Neal Page, and taking him to another Thanksgiving Dinner...
LOL!

RMS Queen Mary is haunted.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Queen_Mary#Haunting_legendsThe deceased flight crew of
Eastern Air Lines Flight 401 were supposedly haunting other planes that re-used salvaged parts from the crashed plane...
A movie, that starred Ernest Borgnine, called "The Ghost of Flight 401" (1978), was based on those events...
Chicago residents have reported that spirits haunt the local area where
American Airlines Flight 191 crashed in 1979.
