Doesnt work like that BUD. Tell the OG star wars fans to stop watching the new Disney watered down trash see how they react. They will continue to watch the new films in hope to get something better because Disney are taking what they grew up with a mudstomping all over it. Pointless trying to bring up a ad poplum argument and say just because im in the minority im wrong. Now i will stop before i say anythinh that gets me a strike So after 10 years and 20 films, you're trying to affect change with your criticism in the hopes that they will "get the message" and change the way they make movies that is more suitable to your tastes? I think you can stop waiting for that to happen. If you don't like something, don't watch it. I haven't seen Venom because I know I'm not going to like it. I don't plan on seeing Aquaman either, because Jason Mamoa really bugs me. And I refuse to see Dark Phoenix, because to me, this just isn't the X-Men. Didn't watch antman. And this isn't a fan forum its a discussion forum. If MCU films cant handle a bit of scrutiny then that's not my problem. Mcu fans continue to pollute the space with lies and false arguments, i simply counter it

Ok, I sometimes try to follow all this stuff you all are going on about. So please elaborate on whatever you mean here. Feige has already produced his versions of those films. DOFP and Age of Ultron are similar in story, killer robots taking over the world except AoU is watered down. Deadpool and Antman are both romantic comedies, Antman is watered down to the nth degree. Logan and Iron Man 3 are about a hero suffering from personal shortcomings and doubting their superhero status and Iron Man 3 has Disney flavour written all over it.
Basically, Kevin Feige didn't advise anything on DOFP, Deadpool or Logan. If he did they would have ended up like the MCU counterparts, diluted down and Disneyfied.
well said. also notice when you ask mcu fans like bud47 how will fiege adapt e is for extinction or messiah complex, he doesnt give you an answer, instead he insults you personally...like that has any effect or meaning.
he keeps saying he knows xmen and usually fails to talk about it deeply. strange uh. he cant even name any top xmen writers without searching the internet.
I wonder what excuses he will give once MCU XMEN fails worse than star wars. this time he will tell us movies like Logan OR dofp never happened so mcu xmen was fine since he is already lieing to himself logan came out 5 years ago. LMAO.
poor mcu fans, they cant even defend their own movies with any class or real approach to film making.

As a huge MCU fan, I'd much prefer the X-Men stay separate. They just don't fit into the current MCU. They'd have to do a full on reboot which seems so foolish after the success of Logan and the Deadpool franchise. And New Mutants looks absolutely awesome.

Dude, stop pretending. We all know you're a Fox-men fan, not a true X-men fan.

We got the trailer for Dark Phoenix in front of Aquaman. No one seemed interested. I even heard people behind me muttering things like “I’m not seeing that”. I’ll still probably see New Mutants. The Captain Marvel trailer was shown too. The audience seemed to like it fine. I’ll admit it does look better on the theater screen.

It also doesn't help that Sophie Turner is a pretty dull actress.

I saw the trailer in theater and liked it, bit of a bitter-sweet nostalgic feel to it. Looking forward to that Mutants horror film too.
However, the prolific X-Men franchise - which is considered the dawn of the modern CBM, or at least of Marvel, and brought us classics like X1, X2, DoFP, Deatpool or LOGAN - is dead and buried under a big X-cross.
Now comes the age of MCU-Men and if the regular MCU is any indication, it will be pretty juvenile and formulaic. Expect no Logans, not even Deadpools, but Fragglerock.

That’s like complaining about Back To The Future 2 revisiting moments in the previous movie. Like that movie the repetitions are a part of the story based around time travel tropes.

X-men seems more like the leftover of an era between Batman & Robin and Raimi's Spider-man that they are trying to very slowly crawl out of. I'd say Raimi's Spider-man is the dawn of the modern CBM.
