Despite the latter two films receiving critical acclaim and the former two films receiving average to poor reviews?

Ant-Man 2 is pretty much making the expected box office for a second-tier MCU character nowadays. Not many people are that interested in a Han Solo movie to be honest.

Aquaman has a fresh RT score, indicating generally positive reviews, compared with Venom's being in the mid twenties.

Despite the latter two films receiving critical acclaim and the former two films receiving average to poor reviews? I haven't seen Aquaman yet, so I can't comment on it. Of the other films Ant-Man was okay, but I was pleasantly surprised by Venom which I enjoyed a lot, especially the second half of the film. Solo was dull and uninteresting.
