A-
Saw this theatrically for several reasons, not least Ghost World's brilliance & wanting more Zwigoff & Clowes. I know the film kinda plays 2 different lanes between 1st & 2nd acts, that's fine, esp upon re-watches without the surprise directions it goes. All in all a solid ensemble of performances, a firecracker of a screenplay. Jim Broadbent as drunken haggard is quite the role. I next saw him in Harry Potter so it's quite the range. Still gets re-watches for me because it's so against the grain without being pretentious or self serious.
