Just thought I'd throw this out there.
The Nets are playing some very good basketball. I'm a Nets fan for 48 years.
After the eight game losing streak where they played good basketball but were just blowing games at the end, they have made a complete turnaround.
I'm as surprised as anyone, especially as they have three starters out, and play a relatively small lineup.
Play in Boston tonight, second of back-to-back road games.
I don't expect Nets to win, but if they do I will be one happy gentleman. Or at least a happy guy.

I think they have a great shot of winning a playoff game, or maybe even two.

How is Hollis-Jefferson doing? Been injured a lot. Not the player he was last season. He'll be a RFA

When they are good, the ball movement brings back the days of Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, and Richard Jefferson.

Well, my Celtics beat your Nets pretty solidly last night, but you should definitely feel good about the direction the Nets are going in.
The future is bright.

The Nets went from 26-56 the season before to 52-30 in his first season in NJ.

I was a big fan when they had Petrovic. And when they played in Teaneck as the NJ Americans.

I had a strong dislike for Tim Duncan for a long time after NBA robbed Jason Kidd the MVP and gave it to him out of nowhere. I only started to appreciate him near the end of his career.

Duncan was obviously great, but those numbers speak for themselves. Kidd literally transformed that team from a bottom feeder to a Finals team overnight.

I think they have a great shot of winning a playoff game, or maybe even two. Me too. I actually think they can win one series, if it isn't vs, Pacers or Bucks They will not win a playoff series and will probably lose a series 4-1 at best considering they will play one of the East big 5. I still say that they are improving a lot. The Lakers probably wish they kept Russell and I love what I see from Spencer Dimwittie. This team does not have much talent, but they play hard every night.

What a gritty OT win by the Nets over the Rockets last night, coming back big in the 4th and then again in OT. Spencer Dinwiddie was amazing hitting 3 3-pointers in the final minutes of 4th to put the game into OT, and then the big bucket in final minute of OT with the FT to put the Nets ahead for good. To show how balanced the Nets are, they had 7 players with double digits scoring. They are fun to watch.

This is a team on the upswing, hopefully it lasts.
