i.e. who appears most often, + notable absences. (My top 50 is in that thread)
5x J.Williams
3x Brando Buscemi H.Ford Gambon Keitel Kubrick Pacino Spielberg
0x W.Beatty Cruise M.Damon Eastwood Hanks K & A Hepburns P.Newman W.Smith D.Washington
I have many actors/directors appearing twice, though not too surprising considering their career peaks. Some random ones like Ernest Borgnine (Gattaca), Billy Zane 2x (Titanic, BTTF), & of course an inclusion of who's who with The Longest Day (Wayne, Mitchum, Buttons, etc). The mother from Stand By Me is also the mother in Back to the Future 1955.

Harrison Ford has got to be the winner. He has a franchise advantage, plus a long career besides.
I dare say Robin Williams, Tim Burton (and thus all his regulars), Johnny Depp, Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and John Hughes (which equals the whole Brat Pack) also turn up really frequently. John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, together or separate (plus much of their generation of comedians-turned-actors), were in just a lot of movies I've watched. And I grew up seeing Christina Ricci, Winona Ryder and Thora Birch in tons of movies.
And while I wouldn't call them favorite movies, there's something to be said for the fact that I've seen every single one of Elvis Presley's 31 films, plus pretty much all of his television appearances. LOL.
Harrison Ford and Robin Williams are the two careers where I've seen just a massive percentage of their work total.
