I hope your Sunday is a fun day! I intend to do a lot of things today. Will watch some NFL, some NBA and have to study a bit about multiple regression and multicollinearity. Also need to eat something special in the evening so I will likely go out for a dinner with some of my relatives in this new city of Bombay.
Please share what you intend to do today and have a great time.

Apart from things I do everyday, like getting up, eating, playing with my smartphone, reading message boards... Things I do on sundays usually include (in no particular order): Updating my personal hit parade Doing crossword puzzles Calling my parents Playing the piano Going for a walk

Prayer. Collating new information. A few beers. Laundry. A few more beers. Clean up some of the household garbage. More prayer. More collating. Maybe a few more beers. You know, the usual Sunday things.

My Sunday is already half over and so far I have done the regular wake up stuff including throwing the ball for my ball obsessed dog, walked 11 km to the wonderful Narrabeen Lake with my friend and next door neighbour, caught the bus back, had lunch annoyed people on here, chatted to MOTH and helped him cut some branches off an overhanging tree for a neighbour who has a brain tumour ( and I did some other gardening whilst the 'boys' discussed the strategy of tree lopping ) just now prepping for dinner by boiling hard boiled eggs as we are having tuna mornay with rice and home gown zucchinis and tomatoes… will now read my historical novel and maybe do some of my jigsaw puzzle ( 500 piece map of Australia) and some crossword puzzles, bring in the washing as it has got overcast despite being mid 20degsC...maybe Skype my daughter in London when she wakes up feed the fish and the dogs and the family then watch TV.... you DID ask!

Playing piano seems to be a rather interesting hobby. Going for a walk is for sure one of my favourite things to do but it's not possible right now because my new place (Mumbai) is very crowded. This is where I miss my previous cities, Melbourne, Delhi and London which all have lots of parks and open spaces.

Is beer your favourite drink? I like whiskey more. But chilled coke is still my favourite.

Walking 11 km must have been fun! Do you walk that much once a week or twice a week? I miss Melbourne a lot because I could walk a lot there. Mumbai is so full of people that you can hardly set your foot outside your house.

Mumbai is so full of people that you can hardly set your foot outside your house. I LOVE walking. I try to walk at least two LONG walks over 10km each week and at least 10,000 steps on my Fitbit walking along the beach or around my beautiful local district daily. It seems we have kissed and made up?

today
today will be much like the last sixty or so days.
for you see i as caregiver to a friend am always coddled around his or mine own heart. arranging the chambers to fit the needs of the hour.
pouring over memories listing towards this or that near achievement. realizing the precious tastes of watermelon bits slowly working their own magic.
we face both triumphant and tragic with reckless regard. he as editor, myself scribbler at large.
sjw 1/13/19 inspired at this very moment in time by what are you doing today.
from the 'benevolent series' of poems

Personal satisfaction. I bought one a few month ago and having lots of fun with it. I will show some of the sculptures at some exhibitions in a few months. Beer is my favorite, though I also like wine. When I travel in France I make sure to drink some good Calvados.

Beer is my favorite, though I also like wine. When I travel in France I make sure to drink some good Calvados. I was very poor in drawing and understanding various shapes. Till date, I have no idea what is meant by 3D. I am also poor in seeing or understanding google maps. My friends often call me directionally challenged. Your field seems to be interesting. Just that I wouldn't have the brains to be in that field. I remember I scored 5/100 in my drawing exam. Because I had only attempted 1 of the 5 questions till almost 90% of the test time, the person who was supervising the exam (the geography teacher) herself checked my exam sheet on the spot during the exam. Lol. Everyone was stunned that how could geography teacher check someone's art paper and how in the world any can check the paper during the exam. This incidence happened when I was in class 8th. I guess my attempt drawing must have disgusted the geo teacher. Have you always been in the field of graphics? Did it interest you a lot or you just happened to be in it?

I actually have rather poor drawing skills but very good visualization skills (that combination is pretty common in my field). I've been interested in graphics and cartoons from a very early age. When I entered university I initially intended to get a degree in physics, but my graphics interests pulled me toward an engineering degree, then, entering the workforce I got jobs in the gaming industry which is of course rich in graphics. Many of my colleagues have art degrees (it's pretty much a 50/50 mix).

Must say working in gaming industry (particularly in graphics) sounds very cool. Could have been even more interesting if you entered that industry in late 80s or so.
