Which is the best city as far as stuff to do, things to see, food, attractions, weather, people, any other reasons. I can't imagine Kansas City will fare too well in this poll but at least they have good BBQ, right? Anyway, I voted New Orleans.

I guess I would take my chances in KC by default. Boston and L.A have horrible traffic problems and New Orleans is a frat house shit hole that gets bombed by hurricanes almost constantly!

Aside from having better weather than all of the other 3 cities, none of the other 3 cities have anything that even comes close to Disneyland and Hollywood.

Boston would be great if you could just get rid of the Chowds.

Boston. So fucking historic, great seafood, great people as long as you're not some kind of sissy, Boston English...

You won't find better food, better music or more history than here in New Orleans!

This is actually a pretty tough question. All four of these cities really do have a lot to offer, even Kansas City has great food and really nice people. I mean, there are no shitholes like Philly and Detroit clogging up the list.
There is one big thing, though, which gives one city a major edge.....
If you've ever been to LA on a hot summer day, and you're a man with a functioning penis, the eye candy that will surround you completely puts LA over the top on this question. Not saying they are all sweethearts, but try walking down Sunset Strip on a Saturday afternoon without getting a hard-on, I dare ya!

Well Boston loses the weather category, but I'd say it's underrated in terms of the other stuff you listed (attractions, food, people). How you answer this question is dependent on the kind of stuff you're into. I don't know that any of these cities stand out from the rest as far as tourism goes-- apart from KC not being a place of interest for most.

I'm very curious as to how many of us here actually care about Disneyland?

I'm gonna go with Boston.
I haven't been to New Orleans.
Kansas City is not bad.
LA is a dump.

Boston has the MIT, the Boston Latin...and some other university I can't recall at the moment. And it has the Indian summer, while California has the drought (dry weather like now is the normal for California, not the green period from the lat 18th century to recently). Things will get funny in California, especially since they consume the scarce water resources more and more rapidly. www.ecowatch.com/5-celebrities-busted-as-part-of-droughtshaming-1882065398.htmlAlbeit this applies to nearly every Hollywood celebrity.

Probably LA because of the weather and proximity to so many different things to do (Disney, Hollywood, beaches, Deserts, Skiing)

When is the last time New Orleans got hit by a hurricane? It's been over 10 years. And I would rather deal with a hurricane than a fire, earthquake, snowstorm, flood, rock or mudslide, or tornado. Hurricanes are slow. You can see them coming 2 weeks in advance. What can you do about an earthquake, tornado, rock or mudslide, fire, snowstorm, flood, etc.?

Really not that big of a deal. Comparing it to a hurricane is asinine.

Really not that big of a deal. Comparing it to a hurricane is asinine. The point was, you can avoid a hurricane which hits New Orleans once every 10-20 years. Most people up north cannot avoid a snowstorm. Most people in New Orleans have never suffered any damage from a hurricane. Much less any injury or death. Most people up north have to deal with snow and all its aggravation every winter.
