I liked "Across Five Aprils", "The adventures of Tom Sawyer", "Edgar Allen Poe" short, macabre stories, "Great Expectations".
I didn't like Shakespeare. At that age I just couldn't understand the a lot of what he was saying, it was too laborious to read and follow. |

What Mrs. McGillicuddy Saw--the book itself was just okay, but it's the one that introduced me to Agatha Christie, whose books I read voraciously since the 7th grade when this was assigned.
Hated: A Separate Peace
The Great Gatsby
I couldn't care less about the twits in these novels.

Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm, 1984, Treasure Island.....lots more
---------I loved all of these and have re-read them numerous times over the course of my lifetime.
Catcher in the Rye, Last of the Mohicans, Moby Dick.......lots more
---------I could not get into these and eventually put them down and never touched them again.
