Who is your favourite Saint?
Do you wear any Saint's medallions?
St Francis is my favourite...
I wear a St Christopher medallion myself, and my dog a St Francis, but he has lost it, and I need to get him a new one (one of those ones with a pinch of Asisi soil in it would be nice).

Well, I must say I am a bit disappointed ๐
Someone mentions gayness, and everyone chips in and has an opinion...
Mention Saints, and nobody has anything to say, except clusium (cheers).

Drew Brees. My favorite was once Archie Manning, but that was a long time ago.

St Pio (1887-1968)the book 'Padre Pio - Man of Hope' is a good one on him. as for medals... i have, but don't wear on myself, St Benedict/Miraculous Medal and a St Michael the Archangel medal that has 'Michael, Michael of the morning, fresh chord of heaven adorning, keep me safe today, And in time of temptation drive the devil away. Amen'. on the back of it. but i do wear a Brown Scapular. p.s. i have been praying The Holy Rosary (which St Pio calls his weapon. also, i have heard it's the highest form of personal prayer one can do.) daily since late August 2013 with rare misses. i credit this for removing a sin from my life that was impossible to escape from as in the 3rd promise of The Rosary it says, "The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies." ; the key words 'destroy vice' and that's exactly what happened for me. that was a big faith booster in God to say the least and it only took 3 months (or a bit less) for it to occur and when it did i did not realize it at the time til about a week or two later before i noticed i did not crave a certain sin(serious sin) anymore and could let it go and at that point i knew it was for real which i KNOW i could have never done by my own (as in the past without regular prayer i could not resist it and would inevitably cave into the temptation from it and sin). all credit goes to God as the only thing i could do on my part is to choose to stop that sin, since we have free will and he won't interfere with it, but the rest was completely out of my power to stop and that's where praying The Holy Rosary did the rest as i received grace from God which gave me the strength to overcome the impossible and i have been completely freed from that sin ever since without a single slip up. for the record... i am a male. so don't let the picture on my profile there confuse you ; it's just a picture of the actress Vera Farmiga in the movie At Middleton (2013)(7-7.5/10 ; which makes it not far outside of my Top 110 movies). it's not surprising as more and more people seem to be falling away from the faith. hell, i was there for about 12 years myself until late 2012 i came back to the Catholic Church. but it does seem like a lot of people in my age bracket (i am a 37 year old male, ill be 38 later this year), call it 20's and 30's, are almost non-existent at Mass as it seems like it's largely 50 somethings and older. but at one Church more closer to our house that seems to fair better in general with attendance and has a bit more younger people there to. but still... not many 20 and 30 somethings in there. but when it comes to general belief in God or not i always like to use this quote... they say faith is a gift from God, but i always wondered why some people, like myself, always believed in God (even when i was barely praying and not going to Mass for years), while others struggle to believe or simply cannot/will not.
