Catman has a scar on his shin which serves as a reminder to always wear logging boots when chopping wood.

Scar over eye from running into a door knob at 7.
Scar on wrist from semi-feral cat named Mo putting his claw in it and me being unable to remove. It hurt.
Scar on leg from dripping hot glue on it.
Scar on leg from burning off an annoying (and I suspect insect bite-caused) bump with magnifying glass.

I have a short scar on my right cheek that I've had since birth. I was born by caesarean and I had the misfortune of being born on the evening of the doctor's birthday. He had been celebrating before my delivery and when he cut mum open, he cut my cheek open too.
Apart from my injuries, when he closed mum up, he fouled up the procedure, which resulted in the almost total collapse of her circulatory system. She lost a massive amount of weight and nearly all her hair. She nearly died and almost six weeks later, she was still too weak to pick me up.
She was left with scars all over her body from where they tried to open up a vein to insert an intravenous feed and a massive scar down the front of her stomach. By comparison, I got off light.

Scar on my forehead from when a kid threw a rock at me.
Multiple cat scratches on my wrists and forearms.
Scar on my left thumb when I slammed the '84 two door-ed Oldsmobile door on it.
Scars on my right knuckles from when I punched a glass picture in my old bathroom.
If stretch marks count, I have multiple ones on my legs, chest and upper arms from growth spurts.

As a kid, I fell down a flight of steps running away from the really ancient but terrifying superintendent of the building I lived in. I fell onto concrete and skinned my love handle. The pain.
He couldn't catch me if he tried, and if he did he wouldn't have done anything to me either, but he was zombie-like in appearance and something about him scared the shit out of me. Better to risk bodily harm.
Also, tons of cat scratches. I'm sure Catman sympathizes.

Scar on leg from burning off an annoying (and I suspect insect bite-caused) bump with magnifying glass. It worked though! And didn't really hurt since it was a concentrated beam. DIY at home laser surgery.

When I was about 3 years old, I became sick... If I recall correctly, my parents said I had gotten some (food poisoning?)... Any way, it resulted in some kind of an infection, that centered on my left foot... The doctors had to make two incisions, one on each side of my foot, to let the infection drain out, and to clean it out... As a result of the operation, I have two big scars of my left foot, to this day... The doctors were not sure what effect this operation would have on my development as I got older... It was suggested that my foot might even stop growing... Thankfully, that did not happen... My left foot is the same size as my right one.

Scar on my right arm by my elbow from falling off my bike as a kid. I wasn't paying attention because I was too busy talking to my friend as I was riding my bike. There was a branch in the street from a storm that we had earlier. The branch flipped me off my bike.
Scar right above the center of my top lip. Again I wasn't paying attention and was talking to my mom as I was just leaving the room. I was walking backwards out of the room as I was talking to her and when I turned around, I walked straight into the kitchen wall. This happened when I was a child.
Scar on the back of my right ankle. Jumped a fence when I was about 12 and a sharp part on the fence jabbed me. I initially thought it was just a scratch. Looked again and realized it was bleeding pretty badly. It was a pretty deep cut. Thought I was going to need stitches for it.
Scar on the left side of my neck (goes half way around my neck). I was born with a huge cyst about the size of a grapefruit that had to be removed before I was able to leave the hospital. I don't have much feeling if any feeling at all in that entire area.
Scar on the top of my left hand. Burned it taking something out of the oven when I was about 7 years old.
Got a scar on my lower back about 10 years ago. I remember being sick with the flu and had the chills. I fell asleep on a heating pad. I got a blister from it and it soon turned into a scar.

It was a small country town nearly 51 years ago, so I believe he simply left under a bit of a cloud.
Under the circumstances, it couldn't really be hushed up, because at the time both of my parents were enrolled nurses who worked at that hospital.
However, I think my father punched him in the face for his gross incompetence.

I have a scar on my right hand from when I was 12 years old trying to carry a 19" CRT TV from the patio into my bedroom. I hit the sharp edge of something (don't quite remember) and cut it pretty deep. All I did was put some antibiotic ointment on it along with a band-aid. To this day it's still there.
I had surgery for an inguinal hernia at the age of 17. That might have been a result of carrying the TV several years prior.
Both of my elbows and knees have scars from when I fell jogging at 19 years old. First time I hit the pavement, second was in the grass. Again, just rubbing alcohol and some ointment. They're the most visible scars on my body.
Only other one is a tiny scrape that didn't heal properly while bicycling at 21. I went down face first. Luckily the fall didn't do much damage and the scar is only visible underneath a strobe light.

I have a ( shaped scar on the base of my left thumb; Dad had given me a woodcarving set, and warned me to NEVER carve towards myself. But I had used my left hand to hold down the end of the wood I was carving, and the curved blade, in my right hand, went directly into my left hand. Lots of blood. Dad said I had to be coached by him on safe use of chisels.
So, we were sitting on the floor, practicing safe chisel usage, when Dad laid the chisel down, reached across me to pick up something else, rolled back to his original position, and, because the chisel had rolled, he sat on it. It made a nice crescent cut into the back of his thigh, and of course I had to point out that sitting on chisels isn't really very safe.
Dad never used bad language, but I'd bet, inside his head, he was thinking a lot of bad language.
Many years later, I was diagnosed with cancer, and have the resulting scars from all those surgeries, but 30 years later, I'm still alive, so those scars are battle scars, and not visible because of my clothing.

An operation scar on right hip from when I was a child with osteomyelitis.
One patch of scar tissue on right hand from an insect bite in Australia.
Tiny scar on left forearm which is what I got for breaking up a drunken fight.
And two hernia operation scars discreetly hidden from view.

Small square shaped scar on the right hand. That was for pulling, instead of pushing, a cart loaded with school stuff. I was looking over my left shoulder to know if I was OK through the doorway but somehow it was on my right that it didn't pass. I hit a small part of a ceramic wall, right on the corner, with my right hand and I was moving fast so I kinda stopped right there.
Left forearm, that looks like a long arc, for trying to use a plastic container to support myself has I was trying to reach something on a shelf. The top just broke towards the inside, so I fell and the teared plastic got me.
Right knee because some moron left the oven door open in an hospital kitchen, I didn't it as I was turning in that alley because it was just far enough so I didn't see it before turning.
One on my right ribs, to remind me to always make sure I am far enough from the rocks when I jump in a lake.
And quite a few others right and left.
