First of all it's really dumb to suggest that this time it's a virus. The pods made more sense. I hate it that they are changing classic concepts, like the zombies, where now it's a virus that takes over. And somehow our cells are also asleep and vulnerable when our bodies are asleep? LOL The cells never stop working. Second, they are showing how the world is changing for the better at being at peace and then take all that away at the "happy" ending. The family is back to normal while the world goes back to killing and wars. Yay! It put Kidman's character in a tough spot. Save her son to get the world back to being bad or sacrifice him for a better world. Damned if she does, damned if she doesn't and she still ends up looking like a selfish bitch. I'll just stick with the far superior versions of the 50's orig and the awesome 78 remake. I like the dark ending better. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Invasion_(film)This is an epic ending compared to the shit one we got for Invasion..

The 78 version had a good surprise ending for its time.

The only thing that I liked about "THE INVASION" was Daniel Craig.
The rest of that movie was an insult to the Fans and the Franchise.

It's amazing how much better the 1978 film was.
I wonder when they'll remake it again. It's seems like they do every so often.

WarrenPeace , really went out on a limb with this assessment, didn't ya? Observation or a put down? Anyway, so far I'm getting more agreement than disagreement.
