Earlier in the season we get that scene of the young Lannister soliders around a camp fire. They have families back at home and you realize they are all a bunch of young people following orders. Or reminded rather.
So then the battle happens. And the shot where Tyrion is watching the battle really hit home for me. The guy says “your people can’t fight” as we see soliders running around burning, desperate to save themselves. All in slow motion. Some of which are at the water doing everything possible to stop the burning. It’s kind of a brilliant scene. In other circumstances Tyrion would have been commanding these men. He may have even known some of them. It’s like it’s finally all too real. And in this moment he realizes how truly hopeless any human opposition to Dany is.
I just wanted to comment on it.. must be disturbing to see “your” troops burn to death.

All of it was meant to be disturbing. Its intent was to show Daenerys morons what she really stands for and that didn't work. Watch them wail in desperation when the big flying flame thrower gets shot.
In a later episode, Jaime is made to hit the nail again, stating that the Dothraki fight for sport. Idiots worldwide still see Cersei as the villain.
This show shines the crudest light on human stupidity.

This show shines the crudest light on human stupidity. No, moron. Idiots worldwide see Cersei or Dany as rulers. Both the Dany and Cersei fanboys are full of shit. Willing to justify torture and violence in their cases. Everything is justified when Cersei burnt people in the sept but not in Dany's case, which was her killing Lannisters in a battle. On the topic, I noticed the look on Tyrion. IMO, it's a fact that he always loved his family even if he disliked Cersei and his father. He loved Jaime and his kids. His look was partly a feeling that his brother was in trouble. But the moron Tyrion made some stupid battle plans and deserves to get kicked in s8.

Yes, little shit, self-defence is always justified. I'll have no debate with those who disagree with this. Go flush yourself. I wish I could do it.

I think the dothraki may encounter the undead dragon and know the fear that kind of fire brings down in this upcoming season. There will be a call back for that remark at some point, im sure of it.
