I'm thinking close to Man Of Steel numbers
Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $291,045,518 43.6% + Foreign: $377,000,000 56.4% = Worldwide: $668,045,518

I hope you are right. That will make it one of Marvels less popular entries, like the Antman movies.

Those are some pretty bold numbers, I expect it's going to be fine but maybe not quite that high. I'm thinking more in line with the 2017 MCU trifecta of GOTG 2, Homecoming, and Ragnarok...around 300-350 Domestic, 500-550 WW for 850-ish total, with an OW of 150 or so. It has a couple of weeks before any big competition hits it, but then things start getting pretty crowded.

I guess the big question is what will the week and weekend #2 look like? Will it have some legs or was it all front loaded?

I've heard the no-shows rumours and frankly think the origin of them are just another version of trolling this film.

I've heard the no-shows rumours and frankly think the origin of them are just another version of trolling this film. But if cinema manager are starting to confirm this...anyway: if thee no-shows are refunded, they have to be reduced from the box office...and btw: Captain Marvel isn't doing that well anymore. They might be able to rig the Box Office numbers, but in the end it won't help in earning actual money. And a split fan base is extremely harmful in the long term for this one objective: making money. And they need to make movies that entertain, and not movies that enrage and declare war on one half of the fan base. In my case it will even effect Avengers and X-Men...both franchises which I have watched so far on the big screen, and of which I bought the blu rays. Now I will do neither. And I will also boycott every other Disney production. And I do not care if I'm the only one doing it. The coming monday will tell us more how good Captain Marvel is really doing.

I yet to see an identifiable "Cinema Manager" make that claim. It's all fake news. If you want a more detailed response about this point look in my posting history and see post I just made on MCU board.
I get you don't like the star or her words. Won't bother challenging you on that as it is your opinion.
Everything else though about the film failing and alienating MCU or comic book fans in general had been proved incorrect by current box office demand.
