Just thought I would share this before I went off. Are there any particular other members you would like to see join the show next season? I am personally hoping they bring in Bumblebee 'cause she is one of the most well known members of the group now thanks to being a part of 'DC Super Hero Girls' and unlike the writer of this article I see no reason why her name would be a problem considering we are getting a 'Stargirl' TV show and a 'Stargirl' movie by Disney at the same time.

Terra is a lame choice, DC are going to the well a little too foten with that character if they bring her into the show, atleast at this point, that should be a S3 or later character imo, I also think Red Hood is far too soon as Tim Drake would be, Tim imo maybe better saved for S3 also, hell most characters should not be introduced in S2 at this point, S1 really only delves into Dick's life we need the team to be fully fleshed out before we start getting more characters, S2 with Donna, Dick, Kori, Raven, Beast & Superboy + Krypto will be enough, as it was one big draw back of Titans despite how good it was is they spent too much time setting up other characters and not the main ones, Hawk & Dove got more development than Beast Boy this season, and yeah Dick needs to don the Nightwing costume in S2.
As for the Bumblebee name she debuted in the comics in the 70's long before Transformers came about, so if DC wanted they could probably use the character and the name but if they wanted they could just shorten it to Bee and tell Tranformers fine you keep the full name we get the nickname now suck my balls, if either can own the name anyway except for their specific character types, due to it not being a name someone created but took off of something else.

Yeah. Terra is not the best choice and there are other members of Teen Titans I would rather see than her but with Deathstroke now revealed to be in Season 2 they will probably use her with him so they can play out 'The Judas Contract' storyline they made into an animated movie recently 'cause it is a popular 'Teen Titans' storyline and many fans have been wanting to see Deathstroke in the show but they will most likely have Terra played by an older actress. The ages of the characters are kinda all over the place in 'Titans' though and you can partly blame the comic books for that 'cause characters like Raven have been portrayed as being different ages but I don't see them having Terra played by an actress the same age as the one playing Raven. I agree with you about it being too early to have Jason as the Red Hood and the actor looks too young and Red Hood is meant to Jason when he is older and Jason spent years as Robin and years being out of the comic books before he came back as Red Hood. I am not sure about his precise age but I am pretty sure he is in his mid to late 20s in the comic books now so it is too early to have him as the Red Hood in 'Titans.'
I liked the idea you had before about having a 'Red Hood and the Outlaws' set in the same continuity as 'Titans' but when Jason is older with a different actor playing him and I think that could work but I have heard rumours Red Hood could appear in 'Batwoman' so I don't know what they are doing with the character. One thing I have heard is there is going to be a Batgirl mention in Season 2 and it doesn't sound like Barbara is ever going to appear on the show 'cause the creators said last year they wanted to have her in it and were told she was off limit for guest appearances and assemble shows but it is good they will have Dick talk about her. Thanks for letting me know about the Bumblebee name and I don't think anybody could claim ownership of that name 'cause a bumblebee is a real insect and aside from the two 'Stargirl's' they have two 'Cyborg's' and 'Cyborg' was a Van Damme movie.

See to me that better plays to Terra turning up in S3, even in the animated show Slade fought the Titans for a season before he planted Terra within them, so they could go a similar route with Titans, though I would kind of prefer if the teased us longer, like Terra plays it straight for an entire season until we get the reveal she's with Slade in the finale but her turn doesn't take place till atleast mid way or later the following season, so we actually have time to get invested in the character before her bewing a traitor is acknowledged, and then we live with that for several episodes before it pays off.
and I cant add spoiler tags for some reason so im writing the next bit in white so highlight if you dare...They just introduced Terra in YJ and they are doing the traitor/mole thing again, let the story breath a bit before going right back into it yet again...Ok done.
Also the age thing if they wait a few years they can have Terra be about the same age as Raven maybe a little older, put her between Raven & Beast Boy's actors ages so that way even if she is playing a teen they can even do or allude to the Slade relationship without it being as inappropriate if they try it in the next year given Raven & the actress are just 14 or will be 15, if they wait till S3 and do it like I figure they should you get an actress who is 18, 19 by the time you do any of the Slade stuff and the character can be that age, close enough to Raven & Beast Boy but not underage...also that means we can get Deathstroke for atleast 2 maybe 3 seasons, which im down for as I love me some Deathstroke.

Okay. That makes sense. I think the problem with Terra as you have mentioned is her turning on the team is so predictable 'cause it is one of the 'Teen Titans' best known stories and we got an animated movie about it not long ago which makes me think maybe they shouldn't have Terra turn out to be the traitor this time and they introduce her at some point in the show and make it seem like she might be the one betraying the team but have the real traitor turn out to be somebody completely different 'cause many fans wouldn't see that coming. They could even make it that all the other members of the team suspect it is her and have some big showdown with her where she storms out and doesn't talk to them for a while but eventually comes back to expose the real traitor and the other members apologise to her. That would allow them to do something very different with Terra and have her stay on in the show as a regular and some people might think that sounds like a silly idea but I think it would be unexpected and a good way to separate the show from the comic books having fans think they know what is going to happen only to find out they don't. I am still surprised Deathstroke is going to be in 'Titans' especially since I am hearing he is going to be one of the main stars of 'Suicide Squad 2' and I think I told you on another thread there were rumours that movie was going to have a whole new lineup and it appears they were right.
I haven't seen the new season of 'Young Justice' yet but I have heard it is supposed to be good and do the Spoiler and Arrowette have big roles in it or aren't they in it very often? I have been waiting to see Stephanie Brown/ The Spoiler in live action and animation and I am glad they have finally included her in something and hopefully next is a live action movie or TV show.

Eh most of the development for the new characters have been on the Outsiders side of things, Batman Inc development stuff seems poised to take place in the 2nd half of the season when they get back after Doom Patrol, thing about YJ is how well they do in fleshing out characters even with little time, but yeah so far most of the focus has been on setting up the Outsiders.

Yeah. I suppose it is and they don't want to repeat what has already been done. I am curious with Deathstroke's daughter, Ravager (Rose Wilson) joining the show next season along with her Father if they will play the Terra storyline out with her instead now and have Ravager come into the show using the name of a different superhero. Rose actually goes on to join the 'Titans' and become a superhero herself in some of the comic books and she is manipulated and brainwashed by her Father into becoming his apprentice but once she realises he doesn't care about her and is only using her she leaves and maybe a better way to bring Terra into the show would be to just have her as a hero from the start and no mole storyline. I like your idea but how about she is wrongly suspected and isn't a mole and it is another member of the team? I am looking forward to seeing 'Titans' when it comes out on DVD and we don't have long to wait now and hopefully the show continues being good. What do you think of the things they did with Raven last week? I know you haven't read the comic books but were they similar to the animated shows or different?

No. I meant last season. I am not well at the moment. What I was asking was what did you think of the things they did with Raven in the show and if the portrayal of the character is similar to how she is in the comic books and animated shows or if they made her completely different like 'Supergirl' did with Saturn Girl for example. I have seen the pictures of her in costume and she looks far more comic accurate than some other characters but in terms of the character and personality is she the same and does she have her full powers or are they going to slowly give them to her over the course of the show?

I have seen the pictures of her in costume and she looks far more comic accurate than some other characters but in terms of the character and personality is she the same and does she have her full powers or are they going to slowly give them to her over the course of the show? I am not really sure as I don't know her powers from the comics, just the cartoons but from what I recall no but she is doesn't really know how to use her powers yet and S1 is all about them growing, like BB's ability to transform is limited, Starfire's powers are toned down but still pretty extreme, Dick's skills are the only thing really up to snuff which makes sense as he's not learning to be Robin he's already learned and his story is about him finding his purpose.
But I like Raven in the show, she's still powerful as shit, some of her powers I am not sure if she has them in the comics but they are pretty cool in the show, but she is different but similar in terms of character, she doesn't know her powers yet so that's a difference, in the animated stuff Raven knows where her powers come from and what they mean, in this not so much and she kind of acts how you would except a teenager who suddenly starts showing demonic powers would react if they aren't a full fledged psycho.
She doesn't don the superhero look in the 1st season however, those images are from what was meant to be the final episode which they cut and made the penultimate episode he finale instead, which I am hoping means they are reworking S2 to allow the characters to marinate in the problem instead of meet and deal with it in under an hour.
I will say Dick I think gets most of the development this season, Raven is second in that regard but with almost half the episodes seemingly set up episodes for spin offs the characters don't really get much time to develop, but that being said I liked most of what we got, just wish we got more of that and less spin off teasers, like ok if you are going to give 4 episodes for that sort of stuff give the season 16 episodes not 11 for crying out loud.
And yeah no full powers yet for anyone, atleast I hope not, I want them to get most of their powers from the shows and very little of that was shown, but what we got I did like atleast...I want BB to turn into a T-Rex next season even just for like 2 seconds, I just really want to see him go dino crazy.

Okay. Thanks for letting me know. I will let you and other members know what I think about ‘Titans’ when we have got it on DVD and watched it and in case you didn’t know and want to get it too they have the first season of the show for pre-order on the American Amazon store. Beccy and I have got a lot of movies and TV Shows on Amazon along with albums, books, graphic novels, crafts, plush toys and cross stich kits and with Apple announcing they are closing the I Tunes store this Monday we will be using the Australian and American Amazon stores a more to get physical albums again and we are pre-ordering a lot of the albums they had on their pre-order section on I Tunes we were going to get on Amazon and we will miss I Tunes ‘cause we got a lot of albums on there but Apple have ripped us off for years with how much they charged for albums in our country compared to the American store.
I heard Dick is already experienced in the show and he is going to become Nightwing next series and Wonder Girl was said to be too and did they say how many years Donna Troy has been Wondergirl in ‘Titans’ and does she use the Wonder Girl name? I know the writers weren’t allowed to use Wonder Woman but does Donna mention Diana much and does she have all her powers and flies or did they tone them done like they did with Starfire? With Superboy joining next season I expect he should be able to fly too and a lot of the members in ‘Titans’ including Raven and Starfire can in the comics and most of them have a variety of different powers. With ‘Arrow’ ending next season the writers might be able to have Speedy or Arsenal in Season 3 with a different actor or actress playing them if it gets renewed for another season and with Wally gone from ‘The Flash’ they should have the character appear in an episode of ‘Titans.’
There are a lot of members of the team in the ‘Teen Titans’ and ‘Titans’ comic books and some have been members of other teams too and it will be interesting to see how many they have as the show goes on and if they make too many of them Season Regulars things will probably get a little crowded and take away from the other characters but I think if they have them make guest appearances they could pull off having most appear even if it is only for one episode. Did they have many villains apart from Trigon and does Trigon actually look like he does in the comic books as in a demon or did they do what ‘Supernatural’ does with most demons and only have him in human form? I was wondering about that before but forgot to ask ‘cause I have a feeling some of the ‘Teen Titans’ villains that are less human looking or have costumes might be changed.
Yeah. I was kinda disappointed when I heard ‘Titans’ was going to be short too and when it comes to things like character development that would benefit more with additional episodes and maybe they might make the second season longer like some other shows have. I have still seen a lot of people saying it is good show though and the only main complaint I have seen apart from the appearance of some of the characters if Dick doesn't joke around enough and mock criminals like he is known for doing in the comic books but he looks like he is a grump in the trailer and maybe that will change when he becomes Nightwing.

Yeah they use the Wonder Girl name iirc, Donna & Dick were both sidekicks as teens which now they are both late 20's-30 means they are very experienced heroes, they do not show Donna fly from what I recall but they do show off her superhuman powers a bit, Diana & the Amazons are mentioned also.
Yeah I dunno if they will give Superboy his full powers or if they will go a little closer to his Young Justice power set, if they don't tone him down I expect to see everyone else's powers develop more also as to not make him too overpowered by comparison, and yeah with Arrow ending I can see them being able to use Speedy or Arsenal in the show for S3 or something, personally I think the Titans should have a slight revolving cast, like Dick is a big enough name and a strong enough character you can swap him out for a season or 2 and give him a Nightwing series and just have him do one or 2 shots in Titans for a few seasons, and replace him with another character then do the same for Starfire or Raven or what have you, building a shared universe on the DC app shows, and using the Titans brand as a way to introduce more people to lesser known members.
As for villains they have a couple of villains of the week, not sure if they are comic book characters though, they have some reoccurring antagonist which I think are comic characters but I am not sure, Trigon I think they give him a demonic look briefly but then they give him a human form, my guess is though unlike Supernatural this is just an illusion and once he gets pissed off he becomes more demonic.
Dick's well a bit of a dick, but I don't mind that because they do show him having more fun characteristics it's just he's dealing with shit in the present which is why he is how he is, and it's not something he enjoys being like, he's a bit Brucey at the moment which is the opposite of what he wants but then it makes sense imo, how S1 ends makes sense to me will play a major role in Dick loosening up in S2 or atleast I hope.

While I am yet to see the show going on everything I have heard about it from you Dazz and others it sounds like ‘Titans’ is one of the most comic accurate superhero TV Shows ever made and I’m happy the writers are staying true to the comic books more and aren’t making a heap of unneeded changes to the characters’ backgrounds ‘cause too many movies and TV Shows do that in my opinion and we often end up with characters that are completely different to the way they are in the comics and it is annoying when that happens and it probably doesn’t affect viewers who don’t read the comic books regularly like us fans so they don’t know how different they are meant to be but it usually annoys us fans who have been following the characters for years before they were ever adapted to screen.
With that being said I recently saw a picture of Superboy on set which I will post a link to below since it doesn’t seem to want to show up here but he looks very comic accurate which as some fans wrote on the comment sections shouldn’t be hard since he is only wearing a shirt and jeans but looking at a few other horrible costume adaptions we have had that you would have thought could be easy some of these people who make the movies and shows are hopeless at times. Why there is such a problem with a comic book accurate version of the Huntress’ costume as I was discussing with taylorfirst1 on another thread is beyond me and is it really that much to ask for to have purple on a costume when she has been wearing purple, black and white for decades now and where is her mask? This Cosplay model here got it more right than the movie and ‘Arrow’ has.
Thanks for letting me know about Diana and the Amazons and it is a shame we didn’t get Diana in a TV Show before and I know the show Joss Whedon was making with Adrianne Palicki was said to be really awful and that was why it didn’t go through but Warner Bros shouldn’t have blocked Smallville from using her ‘cause I think they could have had a good version of her even if it was for one episode and it would have let us have Wonder Woman in live action between the long wait between the old TV Show with Lynda Carter and the 2017 movie. I think it is more likely they will go with the version of Superboy you mentioned from ‘Young Justice’ ‘cause I can’t see the others’ superheroes’ powers developing more either if they have a character that powerful who upstages everybody else all the time.
I haven’t heard any news about Speedy or Arsenal yet but it has been officially confirmed Aqualad is joining the show next season too and will be played by none other than Dirk Benedict – no lol Drew Van Acker from ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and Natalie Gumede will be joining as Mercy Graves and it hasn’t been confirmed but some sites are saying Lex Luthor is going to be the main villain of Season 3 which is a weird choice for ‘Titans’ but it was announced before he was on ‘Supergirl’ Lex Luthor was going to join ‘Titans’ in Season 2 and they have yet to announce an actor. I like your ideas about Nightwing leaving and getting his own TV Show in the future along with Raven and Starfire and hopefully what happened with ‘Swamp Thing’ doesn’t prevent any other future TV Shows and do you think the ‘Metropolis’ show is still happening ‘cause it is not looking likely to me. www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/1076583-titans-season-2-set-photo-first-look-at-superboy

Thea and Roy are members of The Titans too? We gotta watch this show. How many members are in this group? Is that why Thea hasn’t been seen on Arrow again? And WTF. There’s an Aqualad? Why didn’t I know of them before? Does every superhero have their own trusty sidekick?
