Started Noah Hawley's Before the Fall after that, nearly finished it. It's OK... enjoyable but not exactly gripping. Yeah, that was just middling. Started Sara Baume's Spill Simmer Falter Wither... which at first I thought was going to be tiresomely overwritten with a predictably cliched ending but I'm finding I'm loving it... and though it's still going to have that ending it's about so much more than that.

Yeah so that didn't have the kind of ending I was predicting; it had a way more disturbing and absurd one. Not a bad debut by this Anglo-Irish author by any stretch though, I may read her second book at some stage. Not sure what to read next.
