THE FORCE AWAKENS - 10/10

THE LAST JEDI - 8/10

I don’t like numerical ratings because I can never determine what makes something a 3 as opposed to a 4, say, but I’ve previously ranked them like this (from most-liked to least-liked—slightly different than trying to determine an “objective” best-to-worst):
The Empire Strikes Back
Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars
Return of the Jedi
The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Rogue One
Solo
The Force Awakens
The Last Jedi
On the other hand, Star Wars is the only one I’ve seen more than once, and I think it stands up very well on its own, so I may well revisit the rankings—as usual. I’m constantly changing my mind on these kinds of things, for better or worse.

Wonderful! I’ve got nothing against Cheers, but I far prefer Frasier. The plots, gags, acting, and dialogue are superb. |
