Thor's hair is cut, Thor doesn't have his hammer, The casting is wrong (SJW), whoever gave this movie the green light should be fired. I hope this fails worse than the Fantastic Four movie. Question! What is so Sjw about the film?

Thor and Valkyrie are Nordic.

Apparently the film's plot released. At least according to reddit. Taken from a reddit post: "When we last saw Thor, he was flying off to figure out who was manipulating the Avengers at the end of Age of Ultron. Eventually, he hears rumblings of trouble in Asgard: His evil brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), has been impersonating their missing father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins). Loki’s rather lax governing leads to the reemergence of an imprisoned Hela (Cate Blanchett). Thor’s initial encounter with Hela gets him blasted to Sakaar, a barbaric planet ruled by the charming but nefarious Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), a tough, hard-drinking warrior hiding out on Sakaar brings the god to the Grandmaster. “Thor is a bit of a fanboy for the Valkyrie, the elite women warriors,” Hemsworth says. Thor is then forced into becoming a gladiator, which leads to his haircut and the loss of his trusty hammer. (His replacement weapons include a pair of swords seen on EW’s cover.) Sakaar’s most popular and successful gladiator? Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk. Comics fans will recognize this plotline as part of the popular Planet Hulk series. “He’s much more of a character than the green rage machine you’ve seen in the Avengers movies,” Ruffalo says of this new Hulk. “He’s got a swagger. He’s like a god.” Once Thor and Hulk unite, Ragnarok becomes a sort of road-trip film, with director Taika Waititi drawing inspiration from movies like 48 HRS., Withnail and I, and even Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The director particularly wanted to show off Hemsworth’s comedic abilities, only recently exploited in films like Vacation and Ghostbusters. “He’s so good and underutilized in that department,” Waititi says. “He’s legitimately one of the funniest things in this film.” Fans will also see some familiar faces, like Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange. The New York-based sorcerer met with Thor in the post-credits epilogue of Doctor Strange, and he will help the Asgardian locate Odin. Teases Feige, “There’s not a whole lot that takes place on Earth in this film, and that’s one of the things that does.” The events of Ragnarok will also help set up Marvel’s biggest Phase 3 installment, Avengers: Infinity War, the first half of which is due in May 2018. But Waititi is adamant that his film will not only stand on its own, it will reinvent the franchise. “A lot of what we’re doing with the film is, in a way, kind of dismantling and destroying the old idea and rebuilding it in a new way that’s fresh,” he says. “Everyone’s got a slightly new take on their characters, so in that way, it feels like [this is] the first Thor.” Just with a little less hair." Another thing that worries me is how Waitit (and even Hiddleston) keep mentioning how this will be the funniest Thor yet. I mean, I appreciate the humor in the MCU movies but I was kinda hoping they'd focus on making Thor more of a badass in this movie like they did for Cap in TWS and to have a movie that provides more emotional impact than his last 2. Instead they seem to be focusing on making Thor funnier. Not exactly sure that's the right move. It would have made sense if this was the 2nd movie, but if this is the last of the trilogy you want to make a lasting impact. And Thor being the funniest Avenger probably isn't the lasting impression you want to make. Yeah that synopsis doesn't really have me very excited. This is supposed to be Ragnarok and the death of the Norse Gods, I really don't want a bunch of Tony Stark like quips going around from Thor. I want Thor to be a complete bad ass in this film so he better not get his ass kicked by Hulk in his own damn movie. I'm really nervous about the whole "road trip" description as I REALLY just want Hulk to be in the Gladiator pit and that basically be it for him in the film. The last thing I want is for Thor to get over shadowed in his own film yet again. Loki has stolen the show in the previous two installments and I REALLY want this movie to have Thor be the focus and the more Hulk is in this film the more nervous I get that won't be the case. I really hope I'm wrong in that regards as I want this film to be the best of the Thor films. I liked Thor a lot and The Dark World was alright but it wasn't great. Thor has been my favorite of the main Avengers and I really want him to just be an absolute bad ass in this film. Making him funnier also seems to not be the direction I'd want for this film.

A funny, buddy cop movie could have worked as the 2nd movie. Give Thor more of a human, relaxed feel. But for the finale of the trilogy you want to finish off big. I'm the same, Thor is my favorite Avenger, but it seems MCU doesn't love him that much. He keeps getting the short end of the stick. In AoU he didn't have 1 single decent fight scene. Even Cap had a better fight against Ultron than he did. In Thor TDW he got his ass completely kicked by Kurse. Now I wouldn't have minded him getting beat by Kurse but he could have at least given a better fight. Seriously hope he doesn't get pushed to the sideline by Hulk in this movie. And yes, nothing I've read about the movie even hints at why it is called Ragnarok. Even the color palette they're using doesn't seem Ragnarok-ish.

Yeah this film is 3rd for me in regards to excitement behind GOTGv2 and Homecoming. I wasn't thrilled to hear that Hulk was going to be in this film as I've never really cared much for him so I'm hoping he's just briefly in the Gladiator pit fight and then that be it. Give us a brief explanation as to how he got there somewhere and let the fight just be an epic action sequence in the film and be done with it. I really want this film to fully focus on Thor and I'm nervous having Hulk in it will take that focus away. Also with Portman and Dennings not in this film I had hopes that we wouldn't spend most of the film on Earth. The other worlds have gone unexplored and I want to see them. Stop making everything with Thor happen on Earth. The shots of Thor and Loki on Earth searching for Odin means that we're once again seeing Thor on Earth. Just like the Hulk thing I REALLY hope that stuff is very brief. In regards to the soul stone I think that Heimdall has it and that he dies and Hela gets possession of it. This being Ragnarok and all some of these characters have to die. Prime candidates for me are Heimdall and Odin. Also from what I've heard there are casting rumors of Eva Green playing Death and that Hela is not a substitute. I think it would of made sense to just use Hela in that role but hopefully Hela is a compelling villain because that's what the MCU has lacked outside of Loki. I'm going bats@#*& wondering about Sam Neill's role. Also who do you all think Sam Neill is playing? A lot of speculation on him being the voice of Surtur but I've sadly seen nothing to suggest that character is in this film.
