My favorite part of this fantastic thread? For the Rockies, you have a picture of two of their best players, for the Indians you have a picture of two of their best players, and for your O's, you have a picture of two crab cakes.
YES!!!!!

What are you talking about, amigo? None of those three teams are gonna be anywhere near a World Series next year. You talkin crazy..... 🤔 Colorado could. Longshot, but not a Royals longshot. If they can find a closer and keep their rotation;s ERA under 45.00 they could sneak in. And I can't count out a team with Tito calling the shots. Not enough to win the AL though.
tito better bring his 'a' game in the al central next year....royals getting serious!

I find this whole thread rather puzzling. Personally, the whole thing sounds made up..... now does it make sense?

He could still hit lefties. No real risk for the Tribe. One of the worst FA signings. The Red Sox didn't need him but signed the disinterested lump anyway. Why, a headline, of course. They threw an obscene amount of coin and him and Sandoval for nothing.

If I was a betting man I think I'd bet on the Rockies as the NL Champions.
I'd also bet on Ronald Acuna winning the regular season MVP.

He could shine without Harper stealing the limelight. I’d bet Paul Goldschmidt. He might really put up some good numbers in St. Loo. Players have a way of going there and improving dramatically . Lou Brock, Mark McGwire etc. I’ve heard them say that the fan base brings out the best in a player.

If they can get their pitching sorted out (healthy mostly) and they make a run to the playoffs then he is certainly a good choice. I think Acuna could have a season like Mookie Betts did last year but with a lower batting average and maybe more home runs.

I love Ronald Acuna, love everything about him, his swing his poise that is well beyond his years, but that's a tough bet beyond a dark horse type of candidate. He'll be a stud player for years to come, don't get me wrong, but he's just 21 years old and in his second season will undoubtedly encounter adjustments as he goes through the league that has tape on him now. I'm not saying he won't be terrific, I'd just expect something of a sophomore slump or slight regression. Maybe not as drastic as that, but what Kris Bryant did a few years ago is really tough (Bryant was also a few years older). Just saying is all. Regardless, if I were a Braves fan, I'd be chomping at the bit to get the season underway to see what this guy will do. I'd go with Goldschmidt too, in a walk year and playing on what should be a contending team, he's as solid a bet as any. In the last week of ST, I'll post my (now customary) pick your MVP and Cy Young winners in each league, where I'll once again pick Noah Syndergaard to win the NL Cy. If healthy, he's as awesome as anyone but he just can't manage to hang on for 35 starts. Some guys go through that in their earlier years as they adjust to the grind at the top level and none of his injuries have been structural so I am not too worried about him constantly being hurt.......yet.
