Joan Fontaine trying on her new hat as she is about to go to the races with Burt Lancaster. One of the lighter moments in Kiss the Blood Off My Hands 1948. Thanks, teleadmin. I had never heard of this one, and set in London, too!

Dressed to Kill! Awesome pic there! The moment where Liz makes eye contact with the killer in the mirror is blood curdling!

Last Year at Marienbad Oh, Marienbad has mirrors galore! What a fascinatingly opaque experience the movie is.

The hall of mirrors carnival scene in "Mask" where Rocky gets a glimpse of what he could have looked like. It was a sad little scene.
In "Manhunter", the Francis Dollarhyde character puts pieces of broken mirror in his victims' eyes. Mirrors are used as a metaphor as the Will Graham explains that "seeing" is Dollarhyde's main sensory intake.

Heath Ledger. I wanted to show the scene where, as would-be "player" Jimmy, he rehearses in front of the mirror for his "job interview" (Travis Bickle style) with gang boss Bryan Brown in Two Hands (1990), written and directed by Gregor Jordan. But I could not find a still of it. Perhaps Old Aussie can help out? Just noticed this! Great movie....I'll check for the scene, I've got the DVD but don't know how to make a screenshot. If you can play the movie on a computer, pause it at that point and "Print Screen" (PrtSc key on most computers). Paste the image onto an image-handing program (Paint would do) and trim off the unwanted surroundings. What I cannot do is upload images from my computer to this board. All the images I post are from Yahoo Image Search. A valuable tip given me by BATouttaheck.

From foggy gas-lit London murder mystery The Lodger 1944 Merle Oberon and Laird Cregar. She doesn't really see the danger yet, but only thinks he's referring to some strange philosophy, that she politely listens to.
