Bravo, hard as it seems, I've never seen LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, so I'm having a hard time understanding these images.
(Btw, never saw it because I wanted to see it on the big screen only and never had the chance.)
That's a good reason to delay seeing LoA! In the first picture, Lawrence sees himself in the dagger's shiny surface as a magnificent hero. In the second, after a massacre of Turkish troops, he has a lesser opinion of himself.
