At the moment it feels like it'll go forever, however I'll say 5 years max.

Ssshhhh! It'll be our little secret! Heehee. Don't worry. I will keep it a secret. Have you been watching the show this season and what were your thoughts on the final episode and the big twist for the villain of the final season? I thought it was going to be the Empty who would be the villain at the end and am surprised they have made it Chuck/God and I think it will come down to a showdown between him and Amara at the end .

I like the way they have set up the ending too and how they had Chuck say "welcome to the end" and the sky went dark and the demons and zombies come out of the ground and I was surprised 'Supernatural' never covered zombies before 'cause they have covered just about every other classic Horror character but it looks like this final season could be similar to the 'Dead' movies but with demons too who will want to get revenge on Sam and Dean for killing them before. I think this could end up being one of the best seasons of the entire show and 'Supernatural' could go out with a bang. I am still confused over the stuff with Jack and if he really lost his soul or that was mind games Chuck was playing with them for his own amusement and Chuck was the one who really killed Mary 'cause we didn't see Jack actually do it and it went to the credits and then Jack was saying her name. From the look of things with Jack awaking in the Empty with Death and the Empty Entity I think we can all assume he is good again now and has a soul and he will save Sam and Dean and help them fight all the zombies and demons.
I am surprised over how many years 'Supernatural' has lasted too and haters were saying every season after Season 5 it was going to be cancelled when it came up to the time when they renewed the shows and many of them gave up after Season 10. It has now lasted longer than the original 'Dallas' which went for 14 seasons and I am glad it has lasted this long 'cause even though the latter seasons haven't been as good as the earlier seasons I have enjoyed a number of the episodes and characters they have introduced and Season 11 was one of my favs. We are currently re-watching 'Smallville' Season 4 and Jensen Ackles was a regular in that season and it was the season right before he become Dean in 'Supernatural.' Did you watch that show too?

@deblovesbeccy Was a huge Smallville fan, and I even lived in Cloverdale at that time (not now), which doubled as the town of Smallville on the show. The Talon is there, in reality it's an old movie theatre. Jensen was nasty on the show. I remember him being on Dawson's Creek before that. All that time living there I only ever saw them filming once, a parade scene, from season 2, I think.

I loved 'Smallville' and it is my second favourite all time DC TV Show below 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' and I noticed during the first five seasons of 'Supernatural' both shows shared a lot of the same guest stars and I don't know if it was 'cause they were both on the CW Network but I always found it funny when we re-watched them together you would see somebody in 'Smallville' and they would turn up in 'Supernatural' a few episodes later. I heard Jensen was supposed to stay in 'Smallville' longer and wasn't supposed to be revealed as a villain until the following season but 'cause he had one of the leading roles in 'Supernatural' they rewrote his character's storyline to write him out earlier. I have seen Jensen in other roles too and he was in 'Dark Angel' years ago and did you notice like Misha Collins he deliberately makes his voice sound deeper when he is talking as Dean. That stands out a lot in 'Smallville' but not as much as Misha Collins who sounds really different when he isn't playing Castiel.

I had hoped it would stay on air for a few more seasons but 15 seasons is still a good run.

Both shows are made in Vancouver, I spot a lot of Canadian actors in both shows. My cousin never did Smallville but he did make it on Supernatural, finally, in season 11. I tried desperately when I lived there to be an extra but it was hard to be available when I had to work to pay the high rents they have out there.

I knew they were both filmed in Canada but not in the same in the same place and I have been surprised to find out just how many of my favourite TV Shows that took place in American states were actually filmed in Canada in real life and Canada makes some great shows especially of the Science Fiction variety and have you ever watched 'Haven' or 'Eureka?' Those are two of my favs too and I hear they were filmed close to each other and the main star of 'Eureka' went on to play William in 'Haven.' It is cool your cousin got to be in an episode of Season 11 of 'Supernatural' and has he had any talking parts in any TV Shows and is he famous to an extent like known for any roles in TV Shows? What is it like being an extra and do you have to audition a heap of times to get the roles and go through multiple audition processes where they tell you what you are going to have to do for the scenes and you have to read lines? I don't think I have met an extra before and have only met a few actors and talked to them for a minute or two. I have met a lot of singers over the years and I had my own band years and got to play support for some of our famous Aussie bands like Killing Heidi, Little Birdy and the Sleepy Jackson.

The one time I made time for extra work and my scene never made it into the movie. I didn't even meet Ray Liotta or the director for Unforgettable (1996). I was having a great day though. They had to wet the street with a fire truck to make it look like it had just rained in Seattle on a sunny day in Vancouver. If you love movies and TV like me, you'd probably find the whole thing fun and fascinating. Some people find it all boring. They have a description of you and a photo and usually it was short notice. They call you and say be at this location dressed liked this etc.
My cousin is not famous, he even quit acting from 2010-2016 or so. His most famous role might be as one of the WAZZZAAAPP guys in the original Scary Movie (2000). We keep hoping he will become a series regular because that's where the real $$$ is made! 😁 He's happy with what comes his way though, which is a healthy way to look at it. Other Vancouver-based sci-fi shows he's been on: Battlestar Galactica, Sliders, Altered Carbon, Once Upon a Time and The 4400.
All those shows you mentioned were filmed in Vancouver, except Haven, which was filmed in Nova Scotia, which is on the Atlantic side of Canada, and where I live now. I've been to that town a few times and I've even seen some of the cast, like Eric Balfour and Emily Rose.
It's very cool you're in a band, sounds like you're having some success too!

Thanks for sharing that. I have never had any interest in being an actress myself but being a fan of many movies and TV shows I do find it rather fascinating and I have always wondered how some people go from being extras to being big stars in Hollywood 'cause there have been a number of famous actors who have started out playing extras in movies and TV Shows like Ben Affleck in the 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' movie and Evangeline Lilly in 'Smallville' and is it 'cause they keep going in to audition for the roles and eventually get one that shows of to the people in charge they are good actors, is it 'cause they think they have the right look they are looking for with a character from the photos you mentioned or do they talk to them on set and get in contact with them later? It sounds like your cousin has had a good time acting even though it has only been in small roles and I have seen all those other shows you mentioned and loved 'Once Upon A Time' and 'Sliders' and I also saw the first 'Scary Movie.'
That is awesome you live close to where they made 'Haven' and that is one of my all time favourite shows and some people didn't think it was as good after the fourth season but we still liked it and have re-watched it multiple times. It was similar to 'Fringe' in some ways but it was set in a small town instead of a big city and I wish they had made one more season where they went into the Other World where Audrey came from saw we could have seen what that was like. I had a lot of fun with my band and we came close to getting a record deal but I gave up singing around the time I got together with Beccy 'cause I didn't want to tour all the time and be away from her and I realised I didn't want to be famous and the thing about Beccy and me is we have been best friends since we were kids and when I came out my parents abandoned me and I lived with my Sister and Beccy's parents kept us apart for a lot of years 'cause they suspected there was something going on between us which there wasn't technically at the time but when we finally got together music wasn't that important to me anymore 'cause I had something that was worth a lot more. I still write songs and play music now but I love my life with her.

Did you watch that show too? They kind of covered zombies in “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid”. A bunch of people rise from the dead in Bobby’s town, including his wife, and they seem normal until they eventually start eating people. I know this wasn’t a response to me but I loved Smallville. I had seen season 1 but caught up on DVD after the first season of Supernatural and was excited to see Jensen Ackles in season 4. My fiancée showed me Gilmore Girls a couple years ago and it was so funny seeing Jared play a character named Dean.

Yeah. They did. I remember that back in Season 5 (I think it was) and they had something similar to zombies in Season 11 when there were people being affected by the Darkness but nothing on a wide scale full blown zombie outbreak with the dead rising everywhere like you see in the 'Night of the Living Dead' and 'Return of the Living Dead' movies for example until now and I am interested in seeing how they are going to deal with so many of them 'cause it ended with them being dangerously outnumbered and I think Jack, the Empty and Death will teleport there and rescue them and you will have the three of them using their powers to fight some zombies with Sam, Dean and Castiel. One thing I would have really liked to have seen which I think is too late to have now is Castiel getting upgraded to being an Archangel 'cause that would make Castiel so much powerful and he sadly isn't as powerful as he used to be in the earlier seasons. Castiel is my favourite character in the show and I was disappointed when they made it look like they killed him off for good in Season 7 but I am glad he came back. I hope we get to see a lot of characters came back like Crowly, Ruby, Jo, Ellen, Bella, Anna, Benny, Abaddon etc etc and a lot of fans want to see Crowly one last time and they could have him as one of the demons that sides with Sam and Dean against Chuck.
I loved 'Smallville' too and we are currently re-watching that here and have just made it up to Season 7 and I loved how they had a lot of the other DC Superheroes appear unlike other previous DC TV Shows 'cause we hadn't seen a lot of them in live action at the time and it was the first for many characters like Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Zatanna, Aquaman, Cyborg, Stargirl, Hawkman, Doctor Fate, the Legion of Superheroes etc and they used a lot of villains we had never seen in live action too. I would like to see another season of 'Smallville' and Tom has said he would play Superman now and if they made a 'Metropolis' series they could have some of the other villains they never used like Imperiex, Atomic Skull, Lobo, The Eradicator, Black Zero, Cyborg Superman, Mongul etc and with what is going on with Allison Mack they most likely couldn't bring her back but they could bring back Lana and Kara and have them as regulars.
