Very. I am going to rent Get Out, but probably not until after I have gone to see Us. When it came out I was wary of a heavy handed "white people are all racist" SJW message movie that the studios so love, but I have read reviews that say it isn't that ham handed.
I voted for that and Us. Very interesting choice (I never would have thought to do so) to set a Blind Dead film in the far future after a nuclear war wiped out most of civilization and the remnants are living in a pre industrialized world.
It looks like the mom may know more than she is letting on at first. Like she knows where the dopplegangers come from and knows just what they are when they first show up at the end of the driveway in the shadows. Or that could just be the way it's cut, you can't be sure.
The facial expressions, smiles and movement of the child dopplegangers is creepy as hell.
And it is nice to see a big pair of scissors used as a weapon in a horror as well. Been done before, but not all that often.
The dad in his red longnohns..
And the music I mentioned before. This is definitely one of the best trailers period, not just horror, I've seen put together in a long time.
Unlike the one for Greta, which gives away much too much. All of the twists it seems. I still want to see it, but that trailer takes away a lot of the anticipation I had, cause you feel like you have already seen most of the movie.
