A very controversial film by Darren Aronofsky, and yet a number of fans continued to discuss its meaning over the years on IMDB to this day...and the number of articles and blogs which honored it on its 10th year anniversary of release (with a very positive revisit of the film).
What did you like Or hate about the movie --
*the enigmatic trifecta plot *the acting performances *the production design ( out of a $ 35 million budget for the entire film) *the film score *the cinematography *others?

All of the above. Hugh Jackman gave one of his best acting performances in this movie, in my opinion.

I especially like movies which are a good union of soundtrack and cinematography. To me the music is really important to help set the mood. Aronofsky really nailed it with this one. Jackman and Weisz were great, too.

I remember seeing it in the cinema and after the credits it everyone a couple of moments to move. Absolutely stunning movie. Beautiful cinematography, amazing performances, esp. from Hugh Jackman, the plot, which had me thinking about it for a while and of course the music. After the screening I went to the first music store I found and bought it.
I don't understand either why so much hate about this movie and such a low score on IMDB. I don't mean to be rude, but I think people are so used to seeing "easy" movies that they hate when one asks them to think.

Hate it, and I've watched it multiple times. In fact, I have a dislike for Aronofsky in general. The only movie of his that I really liked was The Wrestler.

I greatly enjoyed it. Hugh Jackman gives three good performances. Each has his own mannerisms, yet similar motivations, protect someone he loves.
The blending of the three timelines is mind bending enough to be engaging, yet not overly done so as to be too confusing.
And visually speaking, it's just gorgeous. The outer space sequences are beautiful, and the entire movie has a warm, inviting tint to it.
It's a movie about death and grief, but it's not dark and foreboding.

However, 7.3 is not that low a score.

I think it's a terrible movie.
I watched it once 10 years ago and that was one time to many.
