Been married or had kids. Always hoped for both, but at 54 I have little hope for the former and no interest in the latter.

I have never been married (not legally anyway) and I have never had kids. I always assumed that I would eventually start a family, but for a number of reasons it just didn't happen, and now if the opportunity came knocking I would probably pretend I wasn't home. I don't regret not having had children, although I do sometimes feel a pang when I see my brother with his kids, or even when I see a touching father-child moment in a movie or on TV.

Wow. I assume you must be young 'cause you are really missing out with a lot of those. As a smoker who is trying to quit it is good you haven't done that one 'cause it is addictive and alcohol and drugs can be addictive too but you should really start by getting a job and going to some concerts and the beach for a day. Both are fun and don't you have any artists or bands you would like to see live? im 27 yeah I've never really had any big interest in any of that stuff I had to be forced to get my drivers license I got it when I was 18 I failed my drivers and permit tests on purpose everytime until I got tired of people begging me to get both, so in a way I was forced into getting both since I got of tired of the whining and begging from family about the damn thing You let people tell you what to do? Having a license is handy though, so it's good to have one. But it should have been your choice. You'd let someone force you to go on a date? Who LOL? The person who wants to date you, or your family? I don't even know what to say to that... just wow. Beaches are good to look at, but actually going in there to swim is not that good, so you aren't missing too much with this one. Learning to swim would be a handy life skill though, just in case the need ever arises in an emergency. From my experience, concerts usually have terrible sound quality and acoustics and are played at dangerously high volumes. You aren't missing out on much here. It is very cool to see your favourite musicians in person though. Yeah, no rush man. If you are fortunate enough to live comfortably without working, absolutely go for it for as long as you can. Again... Okay now you are seriously worrying me. You let your family tell you what to do? Tell them to shove that bible up their asses and live your life exactly how you want it. Unless you are saying that you too are religious? Don't tell me they have brainwashed you into believing that crap? Why do you need that chit for? Give it up man. It's not healthy. Good hobbies. 👍 Movies, games, shows and music are too my life. Still on the PS3 though? You should get a gaming PC man. And an Xbox One X in order to play Red Dead Redemption II.

Drink Alcohol Smoked Had Sex Done Drugs Gotten Married Worked Gone on Dates Gone to Concert Gone to Beach Wow. I don't think he's missing out on a lot of those. The only good things in that list are Sex and the Beach (to look at, swimming in it is nothing special). Concerts are good in theory, but then you actually go there and are disappointed due to the sound quality being garbage, and the volumes are always insanely high to the point they are unsafe for your ears, and it distorts the music to the extent that it no longer sounds like music. I know some concerts can be good, but most of the ones I've gone to (which were all GREAT bands) were very disappointing. I don't see a need for him to get a job if he's financially secure. Unless he wants to of course. BUT if he's living with religious fanatics controlling his every movement, then that is definitely worrying and is not a healthy place to live at all. If that's the case as I fear, then getting a job and moving out may be something he should definitely try to do. (not that getting a job or a rental is in any way easy, of course)

Wondering who is going to be the first to say : "Died" 34 of my high school classmates and one of my best friends who was three days older than me have died over the years, so it almost seems an appropriate answer to me sometimes.

Lived on my own.
I am 35 and will likely live with my parents my entire life, because the outside world frightens, angers and confuses me.
I have Asperger's Syndrome.
