Boring plots make movies feel longer than they are. BODY OF EVIDENCE, which is about a woman who's accused of killing her lover and then seduces her defense lawyer, is an exception: It feels shorter! Not because of the erotic moments (there really aren't that many); it just has very good pacing. In fact, it should be studied in film schools. I'm not joking. How many more movies make time fly by with a dull story? Also, the performances aren't bad and I kind of admired that the makers took the risk of alienating viewers with the unconventional sex scenes. 4/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.

I haven't seen this, but with what you comment, why only a 4\10. That is below average so only so so, but should be studied in film school??? Because I didn't think it would be possible for a movie to be contradictory in such a way, and I can't think of any other movie that is like that too.

It certainly wasn't successful when it was released. In fact at that point there was a huge backlash against Madonna for making such a movie along with her SEX book AND her album Erotica. I remember watching this movie, it wasn't that bad...but it wasn't great either.
