The Six Million Dollar Man Action Figures
Some were Barbie Size and some a tad smaller. Mind you, these are action figures and not dolls OR models, Doghouse6 . I had that Steve Austin figure, got it for Christmas 1976! I wonder whatever happened to him?

That Oscar Goldman and Pinky Lee do seem to have gone to the same tailor shop, Doghouse6 This action figure is a tad better dressed.

Birds Barbie, because...of course! But who could have expected this? Universal Monsters by Aurora from the early-mid '60s: I had all those when I was 10 or so, but they were "models," you understand, not "dolls." What's the diff? Beats me. The Melanie Daniels doll is wonderful Doghouse - but sadly at £200 on Amazon unlikely ever to be mine. They should do a matching MARNIE one with Forio as an accessory instead of the birds. The Femme Fatale dolls have sold out too!

The Femme Fatale dolls have sold out too! I had a friend on the MGM lot back in the '80s, before the official Melanie Barbies were marketed, who had done up her own (and quite well, too). She brought it in one day when we were having lunch with Morgan Brittany, who had appeared in The Birds when she was little Morgan Cupito (the dark-haired girl pictured below). She thought the doll was a hoot, and told us some funny stories - with visual imitations - about the failures of unwieldy mechanical birds they had attached to her and other children for some shots. I love the idea of a Forio accessory.

I know the birds do look a bit mechanical after 56 years moving towards "superior" technology (Mind you so do some of the kids) - but I love them just as they are!

Baby Sandy In the late 1930s and early 1940s, cute little Baby Sandy was Universal's answer to Shirley Temple, and after appearances in a few films, she was given her own series. They were very popular with the public and made a ton of money for the studio. Her last picture was made at the ripe old age of 5, and she had no desire to become an adult actress. She married and had three children, and started a new career as a legal secretary for the county government in Los Angeles. IMDb LinkBaby Sandy in Unexpected Father (1939)

I wonder if some manufacturer had a slew of unsold Rebel Without A Cause dolls... ...and refashioned them for the 90210 fans.

Both by Mattel but there are differences. Body no doubt the same. Not to mention that the 90210 set came first Good theory, Doghouse6

According to the e-bay pricings .. the Dean doll was a higher end collectible and the 90210 set was more for playtime. 'fraid this could become addictive
