That's why Wonder Woman- China $90,498,909 7/30/17 Alita- China - $131,703,398 3/17/19 CM- China $131,897,761 3/17/19 So in 2 weeks CM has matched Alita's month in theaters Opening week pretty much equaled WW's total take. So are the other women ugly? Why does it matter that she looks like Marsha Brady?

$796,983,764
Looks like it's going to hit over $800,000,000 million, if it hasn't already, this weekend.

Reviews said it was bland and the continuity issues sound meh so I'll wait until I can stream it. Plus, Brie can't act, so I'm already biased. With time away from it maybe I'll realign and can give it a fair watch. Just got back from seeing it a second time. What continuity issues? Larson was excellent She discusses plot holes and continuity.. Larson is pretty bad. Seems to be a polarising performance. Some agree she's awful, others think she fits in. This is where MCU jumps shark for me, most likely.

1.she is picking at the movie to pock at the movie. Who the fuck thinks Shield became Shield in 2008? Coulson was presenting the full title of the department. Yes, it was pointed out someone really wanted the name to shorten to SHIELD. What does that nifty little emblem in the background say? . Point 2-she isn't a comicbook fan if she expects heroes to show up in other books. Each hero tends to tackle their own crap. When you call the police, you don't get every police agency showing up, do you? Sheriffs, police, FBI, everyone? Or do you get the agency that patrols that jurisdiction? Does she forget Tony's definition of Fury? He's THE spy. His secrets have secrets. And when the nuke is sent at Manhattan does he not point out his team is containing the problem. No need to do anything until it becomes obvious they can't contain the problem Why would Fury call Marvel until his team failed? His eye? The woman states he trusted the cat, an alien life form with tentacles in its mouth that ate the Tesseract, but then questions it? Not exactly good at critical thinking, is she? Remember where Nick holds the cat up, but it doesnt attack? The Flerken only LOOKS like a cat, sort of like Rocket only LOOKS like a raccoon or Groot looks like a more mobile version of the trees in Wizard of Oz. Gotta go to work. Play with your stupid video later. I REALLY hate videos. Does no one WRITE anymore? "I'm making a video! Derp!" ryboto

Wow, is this really going to bury Wonder Woman in less than 2 and a half weeks? Worldwide yeah. This will be the first true test this weekend to see what kind of legs it will have domestically. It'll probably have 45-55% drop. Which WW had in the 40% range it's 2nd and 30% 3rd weekend, but started 50m back. Hunger Games opened to 152m and reached 408m. It's legs weren't great and right now CM is out performing it. There is a chance for CM to beat WW 412m domestic. Hunger Games vs Captain Marvel chart

I wonder the week leading up to opening week of End Game, do you think Captain Marvel would see a bump? Nothing insane but maybe the % drop from the week before would get smaller?

Dunno about that but on the week that Infinity War released Black Panther had a very minimal drop, it's lowest actually. www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=marvel2017b.htm

Plothole issue #4 Carol us wrapped in blue ooze which means the Kree somehow control some of that vision. How would they be controlling her otherwise? Such as Mar-Vell who they pulled out of her memories. The Kree have had dealings on C-53 so some elements are different. This experience is different, suggesting they are changing their tactics on how they are controlling her. It sounded like the song was selected not for it's meaning to her, but to control her. Its not supposed to radiate happy memories like Lita Ford's Kiss Me Deadly. The whole segment is discordant & odd, out of the morm for those communications with the Supreme Intelligence. The Supreme Intelligence was surprised by the music, remember? They were trying to re-insert their control of Carol. Why wouldnt they screw up? If she doesnt think that sounded like Lee Pace, she needs new ears. His lack of war paint reflected a different level of compliance. In GotG he was going against the Supreme Intelligence, rebelling against their treaty. What is the "plot hole" with the tesseract? She wants it explained to her meaning she lacks basic cognitive skills so "Steph" or whoever is hardly a shining example of sleuthing. Did you select the video because it was a chick? One who claims to be a nerd? Odin passed the Tesseract off to Vikings who hid it in the tomb. Red Skull stole it in the late 1930s-early 1940s. It fell into the ocean during the fight when the plane went down. It was found by YOUNG HOWARD STARK, not the older one Tony knows. More importantly it was while he was looking for Steve's body so we can assume it is relatively close to the crash so likely before WWII ends. Realistically as much as Howard liked Steve, I feel he was looking for the body to help re-create the Super Soldier formula. Since it Dominic Cooper Stark, it probably was in the possession of the SSR by the start of Agent Carter 1st season set in 1946. We know Hydra infiltrated the SSR & SHIELD, so it likely was moved between their various groups of research to where Mar-Vell, a Kree spy, detected its presence & created an identity to access it. I am unimpressed ryboto
